I must have missed that. Where did that info come from?
Its on the Settings page under "maintenance"\ crashes\send crashes\ - on my W9 version. To test the beta 10 version they posted this message ..........

"The quickest and simplest way to help us improve the app is to turn on Crash, System Info and Usage reporting from the window at startup or from the “Maintenance” Settings page. We have improved tools to identify issues in these automatic reports so turning them on will be the biggest help you can do us".

I assumed crash log sending was automatic in W9, but maybe its a new feature in W10 ?

It would be good to get this clarified because it would be an important new feature if it works.
Thanks. Well, it's there from 9 onwards, and should be helping with problem solving.

I wonder if they turned it off again after beta testing was over ?

It would take a lot of man hours to sift through crash logs.

An algorithm that could bunch together similar crashes would help a lot.

It's turned on by default in my versions of 9 and 10. They could easily have written software to analyse the logfiles and, where applicable, identify plug-ins that constantly cause crashes.

Just think if they could fix this stuff ....1. PDC (racks ) which I seen a dev post that this was gonna happen in W10 cycle , 2. plugin compatibility as well as GUI issues( which I heard is getting better ) , and 3. lastly crash protection or figuring out what causes the poof crashes and fixing it , this one has a big question mark at the moment because it hasn't always been 3rd party plugins causing the crashes , and it's been crashy since Tracktion 3 days .... I don't remember Tracktion 2 being a crashfest (32 bit days ) what about you guys was Tracktion 2 the last and most Stable version ?

played with the demo an yepp it can crash sometimes, but the W10 seems finally a usable one, edit clips aka project-in-project feature (PiP in Reaper) is quite cool in it, modulation/macros are also working well,

like that any source material (plugins, samples, edits) can be dropped onto the tracks, anyway the new workflow related features in W10 are quite cool ones > https://www.gearnews.com/namm-2019-trac ... f-plugins/
