Thanks. It looks to me like the glitch occurs on the "Hall", "Room" and "Atmosphere" reverb algorithms, but the "Church" algorithm is unaffected.

Let me know if switching to the "Church" algorithm fixes the issue for you. If it does, then I should be able to update the other algorithms so that they don't produce the same glitches.

It seems you're right, I'm not able to reproduce the bug with the "Church" setting, whereas in the other reverb algorithms it's clearly noticeable.

Thanks very much for looking into this :)

And here I thought I was all alone....... :tu:

Do you have any examples to share? I haven't seen any new .sf2 content in quite a while. Doesn't mean there isn't any just that I haven't seen any. :)

Feature Pack 1 has been released today! (free update, v1.1)

New features:
  • Chord modes for generator unison -- major, minor, diminished, octaves, harmonics, subharmonics, and 3 microtonal chords. See the new patches FX Realm of Despair, SQ Faraway Dream and PD Memory of You for demonstrations.
  • Modulation of the sampler's start and randomness parameters. Useful for creating faux-granular synthesis effects! See the new patch FX Centipede for a demonstration.
  • 10 new patches added to the factory ROM
Improvements:
  • The reverb no longer produces artifacts in certain situations. (To get the new behaviour on an existing project, select Settings > Exit compatibility mode. All existing patches are automatically upgraded.)
  • The voices control on the top bar now flashes when a voice is stolen.
  • When browsing through samples, the sampler will retrigger for each new sample.
Bugfixes:
  • Prevent having too many voices after switching a patch.
  • Key map control now works in higher scale factors.
  • Fixed a few small issues that prevented importing some WAV files.
And here is a short video demonstrating the new chord unison modes:
https://media.discordapp.net/attachment ... 3146/a.mp4

Also I hear the Bitwig 5 is in beta now, so if you're using that you'll get access to a few new draft CLAP extensions that Altitude already supports:
  • Patches saved to your user folder will be displayed in Bitwig's browser. (Bitwig does not scan Altitude's factory patches yet)
  • Indication of MIDI-assigned and automated parameters in the plugin's GUI.
  • Automatic remote control support.
These technologies are very new so possibly there will be some issues. Please let me know how it goes so I can fix things as necessary!

Hope you enjoy the update! :D And there'll be more to look forward to in Feature Pack 2... SFZ support is in the works

Feature Pack 2 has been released today! (free update, v1.2)

New features:
  • You can now import standard SFZ files into the sample database, and play them as multisamples.
  • You can now import standard WAV files into the curve editors to use an existing waveform shape.
  • 2 new distortion algorithms available in the effect unit: "Teeth" and "Triple".
  • 2 new modulation sources: "Voices Used" and "Note Release".
  • 6 new patches in the factory ROM.
Improvements:
  • Right click on an imported sample in the picker to move it to a different category or rename it.
  • The unit presets menus are now sorted alphabetically and arranged into columns automatically.
Bugfixes:
  • Fixed a few possible crashes with some devices on the standalone macOS version.
I'm very excited to see what people create now that multisamples are supported :) Enjoy!

Wow, I just saw this announcement. Awesome! I'll be diving in this morning! Thanks for the update! :tu:

EDIT: Absolutely spectacular! This feature turns Altitude into one of the most powerful synths on the market.

One issue I'm running into is that the sample browser window is pretty small and as I accumulate content I'm having to scroll up and down quite a bit to find what I'm looking for as only 20 items can be listed in a single view.

I think perhaps making the window horizontal or making it much bigger would help.

I'm going to send you a PM in regards to some .sfz files not loading. :)

I love this synth, but boy is it a ball ache to install/update!

Is there any chance you can make an installer please?

I agree. :-) Now for the next step. Transwave synthesis. I don't yet have the synth, but can anyone check and confirm if the start and end loop points can be modulated? :D

I actually prefer not having an installer. So if you choose to make an installer, please keep the non-installer options as well. Thanks! : :)

You prefer having to use Terminal to install all the formats for every update?

For the record, I have no issues copy and pasting plugins with no installers, the Terminal stuff pisses me off. I’m too lazy for that.

I assume you are on macOS? I am currently working on a proper installer for macOS. It should be ready for the next update!
