Komplete Kontrol is good for that as it can import snapshots and you can flip between them using the keyboard preset buttons or jog wheel. So made my favourite ensembles into NKSified versionsvata44 wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2023 6:53 pmI think I understand, but that does let allow me to flip through the presets within Reaktor with a button push, only the ones I save inside of Reaktor. Right? I’d love to be able to flip through the internal Reaktor snapshots / presets easily.bmanic wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:33 amIf you happen to use Reaper, it's never been easier before. You simply save your sound as a preset in Reaper, that's it. Done. When opening the preset, the correct ensemble and all correct values are restored (including stuff that isn't meant to be saved in a Native Instruments preset! Like the Monark backpanel).vata44 wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 5:01 am Yes Reaktor is awesome!
My only gripe is the preset saving and browsing feels clunky to me, but there is a lot of really good stuff for it.![]()
NI Reaktor, I forgot how awesome it is

please share with us your bEAST2 mod when you're finished tweaking it!bmanic wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 9:35 amTotally agree. I've been doing a bit of cleanup on bEAST2, changing knob behavior (some have just 40 steps of mouse resolution!) and adding a few things here and there.aMUSEd wrote: Thu Apr 20, 2023 8:42 am Beast sounds great - especially the D50 patches - but I wish the knobs were better labelled and like too many ensembles there is no consideration of automation - automation IDs are not sorted or compressed and not in a logical order
It's a deceptively powerful synth ensemble though. Make sure you hit the big 'Info' button at the top right corner of Reaktor, you can then hover over most controls to get a description (not all have it though but it usually makes sense after some testing.. or you follow the routing of the unknown knob/button).
Do you happen to know any quick way of cleaning up the synth for automation? Or is it just manual labour, going through each and every control?

can you please share the download link for Dron-E? can't find it anywhere onlinemartiu wrote: Wed Apr 19, 2023 7:37 pm I love Reaktor, if i have to choose one vst it will be it, so many times i was sitting in front of my lap top playing with Kontour or Drone-E and was shocked at the sounds i was able to play and make, i dont care too much about analog emulators, i am a sound explorer, weird otherworldly sounds is why i am in this hobby, the unknown when you fire up the granular synth with your new sample pack and you dont know what is gonna happen when you mangle the shit out of it. Reaktor is the best at that.

Kontour , Molekular, Twisted Tools Ultraloop, Twisted Tools S-Layer, Prism, if you feel a bit tipsy - Skanner XTdremin wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 8:50 am also from the commercial ensembles, what's out there not to miss? I get it that Form, Razor and Monark are a must – but what else is great?

I think pretty much all of the commercial NI libraries for Reaktor are great. None of them are bad investments if you like playing within the Reaktor ecosystem. They are even better if you have a Maschine or NI Komplete controller.
@martiu Oh and thanks for reminding me about Twistedtools! Definitely need to check them out and see if I could use some of their masterful creations!
Then there is also Tim Exile's SLOO

Also check this for inspiration on new ensembles to check out.

From that blog post I highly recommend Seamonger One synth. It really has a quite unique tonality to it. Very soft and distinct somehow.
.. and also perhaps check this one out:

The Tim Exile stuff is great but he abandoned them almost as soon as they came out unfortunately

I bought 'The Finger' and it sounds great but it's a PITA to use and a little CPU hog.

Any bugs in them that need addressing? I only have The Finger and The Mouth, both of them works exactly as advertised and I haven't found any bugs in them yet. Are the newer ensembles buggy?aMUSEd wrote: Mon Apr 24, 2023 1:18 pm The Tim Exile stuff is great but he abandoned them almost as soon as they came out unfortunately
