D16 Drumazon 2 is coming

p.s. For those wondering - Bassdrum is most definitely different than in Drumazon 1 (and I like it for now but it's way too short a time to make a final judgment). It is more refined. FX are amazing, there's even a sort of transient shaper and stuff from Decimort and so on.

And the first bug encountered

Happens every time for me. Live 11, empty session, just the default Drumazon 2 loaded (Trial)

The latency is high. I have over 6ms delay added when I use the plugin. Luckily it's seems that it's just caused by effects. When I deactivate everything I get no latency.

I appreciate that d16 does take care of quality and I love to have high quality settings even when this means high latency, but I would prefer it when you had better to use quality settings so that you can change more easily between quality vs latency.

The current quality settings are a bit unclear to me. They do not really change latency.

update: The final limiter has a lot of lookahead, so deactivating it helps. But in general my thoughts above are still the same.

I don't know if you buy Drumazon 1 second hand now; I bought it second hand many years ago (by the way it's my only D16 plugin I didn't buy brand new) and I received the upgrade coupon.

I had Drumazon v1 but sold it, and they are still offering V2 at a discount of 69eu. Very generous I'd say.
I have nothing but the free limiter in my account.

The latency is high.

You figured it out by now. Turning off the limiter and multiband set latency to 35 samples WITH ALL EFFECTS TURNED ON - so it's 0.79ms at 44Khz without limiter and multiband.

If you are considering 0.79 ms with all FX turned on a huge latency (that is below 1 ms) then that's an exaggeration IMO. Clearly, you would get absolutely the same latency < if not more latency, by using a similar FX in your DAW.

Turning FX off is 0 latency.
