I voted "Other" thinking of teh Yamaha sequencer included with some of their gear.

If getting in and tweaking on hexadecimal is considered valuble, then Cubase -but for the rest of the real world Cubase can be fine.

I like to use my SQD 1 2 track anyway or my Atari with a decent sequencer...hehehe! Just synch them puppies to Cubase and off ya goes. :cry:

The worst must be podium. Play with the demo 10 minutes and it went in the garbage bin real fast. No doubt this can actually make some sounds and feels somewhat like a unique piece of software but I couldn't do anything. The worst piece of unfriendly software I've seen. Actually tries to set things up for you. I know RTFM but on some other hosts, you don't need to do that.

The easiest interface is without a doubt tracktion. You have to be blind not to figure it out in 1 minute or less. Midi editing sucks major but that's the only complain (including time-stretch :P ) I have about it.
