Do not forget to check the memory on the QVL database of each mobo manufacturer. If they say its good to go, it means they tested it on that specific motherboard on those speeds and all good.vignesh.vijay wrote: Sat Nov 30, 2024 2:35 pm AWESOME. Ordered Ripjaws 96 gb 6400 RAM as well.
Waiting for NOVA PHANTOM GAMING X870E motherboard to be back in stock.
Once that is there, would be starting to assemble![]()

Looks like the only G.Skill 2x48 modules compatible are Trident models - F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RS and F5-6400J3239F48GX2-TZ5RW

omg.. Another nuance.
I see a couple on the Asus side atleast with Trident.. but on Asrock Nova, the only one supported for 48 gb is the 5600 one

There are some in ADATA and TEAM group but don't have so much faith on those brands. Haven't heard much.
UPDATE- got a 20% off on the CMH96GX5M2B6000C30 ver 5.53.13 which makes it less than the G skill one and compatible as well.Planning on getting that. Would that be fine?

For two RAM sticks nowadays you do not have to worry if the model is not in the QVL list.

Is there a significant difference between these 2? I see the gold certified one is priced $50 less. Should I just get that?
