When you say 'steals keyboard input' you're referring to the ascii keyboard not the midi keyboard right? I've added this to my todo list, thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Yes the computer keyboard. I like to use the typing keyboard to play notes and spacebar to start /stop the transport etc. Terrain synths steals the focus from Bitwig when interacting with the plugin. I have to click on Bitwig interface to get the keys back. It makes it very tedious to make an adjustment to the synth and then play notes or strart playback. If you can fix it that would be awesome.

This also happens in Fl studio

Thank you for sharing this. This is Sick!

What a great concept for an oscillator, it definitely creates some really nice timbers. I will definitely try this out.

Don't overlook making a paid version at some point!

When I was watching the ellipse on the sinusoidal landscape, when it looked like a circle it seemed similar to the sound of two sin oscillators.

While exploring this concept what did you find were the main advantages/differences in creating timbres over modulating multiple oscillators?

The visual aspect is great, and it seems that when you generate landscapes that have higher frequencies at the edges, you get some very novel timbres.

The feedback sounds sounded really great.

Thank you so much for sharing this for free, I look forward to trying it out.

I think the main difference between Terrain and another synth with multiple oscillators is that it is both easier to control the timbral evolution and that there are timbres that would be unachievable with a standard oscillator stack. That being said, I do plan on adding multiple oscillators (trajectories) in a future update of Terrain. In prototypes multiple trajectories sounds amazingly thick/dense; really great for pads and leads.

Sounds cool! ) Thanks for your work

Maybe I was inattentive: is it possible to keytrack the filter?
I think this is a pretty important thing.

Raw Terrain, no further audio processing.

That sounds quite nice, thanks for sharing-- and to Aaron et al and for the progress! I also find Terrain very good for flute, woodwinds and brass sounds!

When we commodify everything, including our asses when we somehow sell-out, we ultimately cheapen everything. Some of us only think that paid/locked stuff is somehow superior than free/libre. It might look/be that way in the short term, but if one takes a long view, it's the very opposite as the dynamics of commodification play out.

It's not possible on the current released version, but I've added this in the upcoming release.

Very nice. In my enthusiasm I jumped straight to the end of the thread, will it be possible to ad ones own functions?

I did wave terrain synthesis in Supercollider and in the most unsuitable software for anything with sound:

Cheers.
