Well done all    and especially the top 5, well deserved to be there. :tu:

Thanks to those who again have helped me attain my usual placing around the mid point. :tu:

ODIN2 track will hopefully be a more ambient/soundscape motif track.

I would be very happy about Dawesome Novum. I love this thing! The lottery for the Syntorial & Building Blocks full course bundle is a great idea! I really hope it works out

Oh no, does that mean I can't pick a different Dawesome plugin now (when it's my turn)? 😳

BTW, Novum is very fun: it's granular heaven~

As far as I can tell, there is only one NFR from Dawesome each month. I did have my eye on HATE, but I guess I need to try harder with Odin 2 this month to beat Viroo to the punch :D

I'll skip the prize, and I hope the Syntorial stuff comes in useful to the lucky recipients !

Many thanks to Richard and BJ for keeping the OSC train rolling :tu:

HATE is also incredibly fun! You don't even have to use it for distortion if you don't need it: I love using it just for its OTT, to be honest!

Sigh: it's a shame for me, but them's the breaks. I'll review the other prizes and be back soon...!

I'm back and have reviewed prizes: as the last one to pick, I hereby choose DS Audio Diversion!

It's the same developer that made Thorn, and Thorn is super fun! If Thorn is fun, and DS Audio made it, then Diversion's gotta be fun, right? 🤔

Was really hoping for Dawesome's Myth, though; but there's always next time! Viroo: please enjoy Novum, and share some patches with me over Discord sometime! 🙏

Congrats Taron! 👏

It looks like I've spit in everyone's soup with my choice. I'm really sorry about that.

You've already won the duel, because I'm going to sit out the next round. But that doesn't mean you don't have to make an effort. The competition is fierce and good! :hihi:

Please! All HAVE your opinions and point of views and all that.
I have mine.
And sure we all can express them here.
I would like to avoid situations as in certain "vs" threads here on KvR which would rather drift me away from the idea of participating in the future.
What I mean is that nobody has to agree with me or change their mind because I say something with whatever authority. Chill.
I am really positively surprised of all the interesting and insightful and thoughtful comments I got for my tracks.
So I have no hard feelings for any of you.
All a bunch of cool, interesting individuals.
Yes. There's no hard feelings. Being on KVR one probably expects nastiness. So just wanted to mention that the OSC is like practically not even a part of KVR. I guess a few OSCers talk on KVR in general but most hardly do so. And though occasionally people argue, it's nothing like KVR, which IMHO is kind of toxic. I can't remember if the discord has been posted lately. https://discord.gg/CY8pauaJ

Now that the winners have all selected their prizes it's time to find out which two participants will get the "Syntorial & Building Blocks full course bundle"

Using a random number generator we will select the two winners, and will notify them shortly by kvr private message. If any wish to pass we will randomly select another from the remaining participants. The two recipients will then be announced here on the forum.

Congratulations to everyone involved!! And thank you to Richard and BJ for hosting. I enjoyed hearing the submissions, learning through the process of making my own, and had a really hard time voting / ranking because they were all so good. I like the idea of receiving comments. Do I have to be a paid soundcloud member to allow folks to comment? That's what it looks like.

As a paid Soundcloud member: no, that would be silly

I've asked once if comments on every track are a requirement, and it's not: they're just good to leave, especially if a track is really good or if something needs to be said about it.

I'm guilty of not commenting on tracks I think are just ok, because that isn't constructive enough and definitely wouldn't help anyone's feelings - certainly not the artist's. I will, however, leave comments if parts stick out: reasons a part is good, or things they remind me of, etc

TLDR: comments aren't necessary, but they can be nice

you're jessica the vi artist over there, right? you have several comments on your track on soundcloud! seems like whatever you're using to read it doesn't show them properly? i could copy and paste to a direct message here, if you'd like.

Have you turned comments off? Check on the tracks Permissions tab in the editor. Look under "Quiet Mode" ...

Just a thought.
