How do I add nodes to the path?

Not in yet but is on the requested feature list

Can you record the play head path or even draw them?

Yes so the XY position is automatable so what I'd usually do is just record myself playing with it in ableton in static mode - should work with any DAW. Drawing a path is not doable however.

i wanted to try the demo but it isnt signed yet? cause I get a warning notification by Microsoft Defender. not installing atm :/

Hiya, yeah that warning is expected at the moment. SmartScreen/Defender builds trust partly through reputation, and because this is a new build without much download history or an established publisher signature behind it, Windows may warn that it’s an unknown app. We’ll look into signing future builds so the install process is smoother.
