Thats true, but like you say tabs and mutes would be quicker and also you wouldnt have to remember the level the envelopes were at to put them back on again. This suggestion is mainly about ease of use and speed of use, but things like that are important and make a difference. I do agree that tabs or clicking on the envelope type names would be easier than the current drop-down menu. However, I've gotten very fast with it as-is.
Ill shut up about this now, but I think it is a good idea and would improve editing the beast that is Rhino
