just like Amoebe wrote - select the notes you want to quantize in the midi-editor (piano-roll) and then you have a 'quantize'-menu in the objects-editor with more options than most other sequencers... ;-) :-D

man...this thread got real ugly.

i'm all about tracktion..have been for a long while now. i think the new version is great so far. i am glad they gave you the option to go back to the original color scheme though, cause like others, i'm not too fond of the new one.

only other thing i have a slight problem with is the loop recording. while this is an addition i've been requesting forever, i'm glad its here, i just wish when you stop loop recording you had the option to display the last take rather than the first. does anyone know if there's a way to set that?

:bang: I wonder if you read my post? I know you can quantize note selections like that, but you can't quantize by %!

Example: select a clip. Note the quantize box, and under it the 'Amount' box. Using the amount box you can quantize a clip by only 50%, to keep some human feel.

Ok, now select some notes using the midi editor. You can still quantize, but there is no 'Amount' box anymore.

Now does it make sense?

Give that Jens a cigar! :-)
who was of course only joking when he simply 'listed' all sequencers he could think of...
And I was simply stating that Podium is NOT a cluttered interface, whether he was joking or not was irrelevant as far as what I posted.

So sue me-I was working on my first cup of caffeine for the day. :-) Don't ever quote me before I've had at least two large cups of coffee!

Some of the other presets are very good. I'm completely set on Bogic now, and am unlikely to chnage.

I don'ty think so, sorry.
Someone shot the food. Remember: don't shoot food!

To conclude : Tracktion was and still is a very remarkable sequencer.
I wonder if musicians also argue that much about different instruments, like :
"My electric guitar is far better than your old piano?"
I hope jules got paid enough...

I just spent 3 hours creating this really cool blue skin for T2... Looks great!! Sweet... Then loaded up RMIV in a rack... Ahhhhhhhh!! ...Dropped first note (bass drum) in midi clip... I love this skin I created... Damn :x I wish they could fix that... Seems sort of weird that FM7, and Pro-53 were fine, but then this...
