I spoke with Jeff McClintock and he gave me permission to upload his previous public betas of SynthEdit. I'm thinking specialy on 0.34 and 0.67 since there are some badass freeware plugins created with them. Is anyone still having these versions on your harddrives then I'd love to get hold of 'em. Both in 98 and XP version complete installers.

yes, indeed.
This thread lives of talk and posting old vsti/vst pluggies. Since 2002 there are hundreds of vsti/vst's made by any developer. Many of them are now lost and the developers himselfs seems not to have them as back-up.
So is there no one, who has any little gems on his harddisk or cd's, what is not posted here before?
For an example, here are two little Vsti's from 2004, I've found on a cd.
Mentalstate Vsti
Much fun with them.
And oh, I'm on search for a long time for the very old Kaitop vsti's!!
ciao

armin, thanks for these lost gems.
i have tried finding kaitop every where i've looked, nothing but the stuff already uncovered.
we BOTH know they are out there!

Armin, what specifically are you looking for?
i'm hitting every spam-producing nasty-ass search engine i can find, and nada anywhere!
maybe if i had the name of the dll or the synths it would go a little quicker?
peace

I couldn't get anything useful out of the Killer synth. It won't load an fxb and when it does load and fxp, the keyboard doesn't change something bot not the pitch.
Anyone else got it working ok?

Hi Jim,
it seems, the old link over the waybackmachine don't work anymore, so I can't tell you the names of the synths. There must be twelve or fifteen synths to download on his old page. Now the link has gone. I can remember a synth named "PolySyn" - but this doesn't help. So if Kaitop himself don't want to help, there's no chance. OK, this was it - and no one seems want to help or has anything like this (or other old gems) on his hd or cd's to share them here with us.
ciao

The Killer Synth: Some patches doesn't work right - only on the midi-keyboard of the synth you can play the right tones and melodies - but why?
Has anyone an idea?

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.
