I got excited about it, but I'm told there's a slew on the pitch that can't be disabled.
Now that I dig for info on it, it apparently affects upper registers and downward steps more than lower registers and upward steps, but it's a real thing. So I'm kind of thinking about other options (even though I would probably use it for drones a lot, given its textures... hmm).

Waiting to see what pops up in the auction of course, and I'm curious about CVilization.
But I'm thinking about getting a BBD again, probably the Doepfer with 256 stages this time. 1024 was kind of an uncomfortable middle ground between resonator and echo without being great at either, but I figure, with a short one I could still pop it into the feedback loop of a longer delay if I want that character On the other hand, the Erica Pico BBD is tiny, cute, unfiltered, noisy, whiney and aliasy so that's a good thing
