Seeing as feature requests seems to be looked at by Wave Alchemy (which is a major plus) here are mine to make this the GOAT drum machine, in order of preference:
1. ability to assign any parameter to its own controllable LFO would be SO good, SO useful for me (like the way Geist 2 could). You could hide it away so it doesn't confuse the casual user. (I know this couldn't be exported with the midi)
2. the option to ignore daw bpm when previewing beats! (ie. play it at the intended bpm unless Host Sync is selected - or am I missing something).
3. option to rename the tracks
4. To be honest if you also implemented every feature from XO that you don't already have that would be a dream for me, mostly the cloud and similar sample finder as well as the rhythm emphasis thing.
Thank you! It's obvious that you care about what you're making and if you keep developing it I'll be very happy.

Hmm.. I'm not seeing a lot of updates lately but one can always hope. I'm not really gelling with Triaz at all. It's just too clunky somehow.
And I absolutely hate the EQ module. It is the dumbest thing ever and virtually useless in my opinion. This pretty much forces me to use Triaz with multiple outputs, just to get basic EQ on things. Yeah, I'm not impressed a year later.

Do they answer support requests? I've been waiting about two weeks for a reply.

From my own experience and from reading this thread a lot, it's very much hit & miss.Aloysius wrote: Tue Sep 02, 2025 8:59 am Do they answer support requests? I've been waiting about two weeks for a reply.

They do. Did you use the support form on their website?Aloysius wrote: Tue Sep 02, 2025 8:59 am Do they answer support requests? I've been waiting about two weeks for a reply.

Yes. I used it last week (as well) and have had no answer. They'll get there eventually (I guess).

They do have something in the works, which should be coming along anytime. I guess software projects get delayed sometimes, complex work after all.bmanic wrote: Mon Sep 01, 2025 11:18 pm Hmm.. Last time I reached out to them they gave me a run down of changes they had made, and from the list it seems they have listened to people's comments. I'm sure they want the next version ready as much as any of us users.

I bought this a while ago and finally getting around to trying it just now. First impressions: let's say not great, to say the least.
However, let's assume I'm an idiot (likely) and I'm doing something wrong. We'll start with a simple one.
I want the pattern length to be 16 steps, so I can either drag the bar with the dot from 32 to 16 or I can change it down the bottom under the length box. How do I then lock this so all future randomisations remain at 16 steps?

I was on the fence before buying this based on the demo as it's a bit clunky and some of the workflow just didn't suit the way that I do things. However, it was the best of everything I demoed and I bought it in the hope that things would improve as it matured with time.
Unfortunately it looks like wave alchemy are putting their efforts into other areas of their catalogue which is a shame because I do think Triaz has the potential to be best in class. I believe the last update was July 2024 and although a few people have teased about things being in the works I'm afraid that I'll believe it when I see it.
I'm not jumping ship just yet because I still fundamentally like Triaz but I'm a bit disappointed that this probably isn't going to be improved.
