ok, we got the name sorted then
the env amount goes -/+ and look you can swap channel paths.
and on the filter too. tbh, i've been a bit confused about this
too on occasion.. and i think one or more of the xmods are
to blame, and...oh s**t i forgot to take out xmods 5+6 bcs they
don't add anything, and on isn't even fully connected - noted!
this is just another stage draft btw, was getting fed up with it
but wanted to test the water.
yeah you can name the patch, you have to enable it by clicking
on name and using the capitals option - i guess the semantics on
that are a bit wack. unfortunately i still can't retrieve the actual
fxp name, so any naming there is internal only, if you see what
i mean - not really an essential feature...like the jazzy backgrounds
i've supplied.. but colour change option stays, unless it is pushing
up cpu.
ah yeah, and the menu buttons, that's all a bit ugly still, but i can't
think of any way to get that many params on the GUI, and i like
the way it works, you get used to it.

:? I don't understand what you mean here. The envelopes go from 0 > 100, where is the option to go into minus figures ? Or am I not finding the right button on the front panel ?

I have tried naming patches within the synth, even using upper case letters, but still no luck. Plus will there be an option to change the volume level of each wave ?

envelope shape goes 0>100 on each stage, but the direction
it goes in is determined by the centred 'amount' knob - ah, hav to
check if i left in 2nd on on filter eg amount...

there's a weird thing with the LFOs that has nothing to do with me(...)
it is a Butch Kratzer module i used(BK) that has 'fade in/out'. so i thought
it meant it would do like on a JV module, the LFO effect comes in full or
gradually, and same at note off, but it doesn't seem to work like that. so
to get a good LFO effect, whack the 'in' part up a bit and use that to
determine how much effect the individual LFO amounts have (pitch/filter,
did i leave amp in? ..) you can get quite a pronounced effect from those,
spacebells and stuff. i'm thinking i should alter this soundfont bank to hav
rhythmic and voice samples, but i'm also sorting out a revision of the
old polysynth plugin as well, so having to juggle a bit: one bit gets borrowed
from the other, and conversely, and then you think meh, maybe i change
all the labels on the old one...and that's not going to take just 5 minutes..

you can use the bottom right x/y box to set level and filter
cutoff for both, a bit string+sellotape, but works.
yep, 'name' works, just position mouse under txt and the
menu pops up...it should just have a normal button! that's
crap  - and you get a txt entry box above the name box.
hey its an experimental feature!
(should really hav a main thread on instruments for this)

Wow!

These are not gems from the past, of course, but I didn't know these four promising synths. An excellent occasion to discover perhaps some... gems from the future.

Just a little question, mztk. I have seen that you have posted a comment so are a registered user. Can you tell us, by a glance at your plugins (or at their directories), if they are skinnable by a way or another. I have some difficulties with the very, very pale backgrounds. So if I could simply change these background colors (an external graphic file for example) it would be nice...

His recent synth (LA Partial) you can change the colours of the Text and UI. You will find the option to do this by clicking the LA Partial logo and then 3 buttons will be visible in the lower left of the UI, click on the second one down (Scheme) :tu:
