Anyone else have this issue?

Also can the note length criterion be ">=" or "<=" because in the above example, determining where 1/4 goes is unnecessarily complicated.

The reason I'm doing this is because it's a great alternative to using keyswitches so forwarding to different articulations based on note criteria is a very powerful feature.

Happy New Year!
You are right, the 'G' shortcut did not update the whole song. I did not realize this because I don't often use it, but I have fixed that today.

If you need "<=" or ">=", I recommend using the "between" rules, which uses smallest<=value<=biggest. It is very useful when you want to select

• only 1/4 notes (Between lengths: 1/4 to 1/4)
• or <=1/4 notes (Between lengths: 0/4 to 1/4)
• or >=1/4 notes (Between lengths: 1/4 to 16/4)

It is possible to have multiple "between rules" even with overlap. The first rule will be used for the overlapping length. E.g.

• Forward notes between: 0/4 to 1/4 to "Short notes" (1/4 notes will be sent here regardless of the next rule)
• Forward notes between: 1/4 to 2/4 to "Medium length notes" (2/4 notes will be sent here regardless of the next rule)
• Forward notes between: 2/4 to 16/4 to "Long notes" (same as longer than 2/4...)

So far I have noticed that in the latest beta I often cannot close the inspector windows and the only option left is to reboot.

Yes, in a separate window. 5.5b3 ,but this problem didn't appear in the last beta (I don't remember when)

• "Rhythm Mapper From Track" renamed to "Follow Track Rhythm"
• NeuralNote (audio to MIDI conversion) updated to latest version
• Fixed: tracks using "note forwarding" are properly updated when pressing 'G'
• Minor UI changes (pop-up menus replaced with OS-provided pop-up)

Thank you, Attila, in 5.5 b4 the graphics have become better. I would still like to see a preview in Audio to MIDI Conversion. Now it is not clear what result will be given by adjusting the sliders of the conversion settings - it can neither be seen nor heard))

It would also be convenient to add a slider and a result quantization setting to the Audio to MIDI conversion window. By the way, for now I can close the phrase inspector window not immediately, but with a big delay.

Hi.

Consider this picture:

When any of the dice on the righthand panel are used, we see a response in the rhythm graphic on the left (as notated).

However, the actual numeric parameter changes that the dice create are not being updated to match.

Possibly I am mis-understanding what the dice are actually connected to, but whatever it is, shouldn't we see numeric and slider updates (as well as the "final picture") with each click on the dice?

I think the sliders are "limiters", Steve. In other words, lets say you slide the humanize to 10%, then the dice will be limited to that range 0 to 10%.

If you have an audio 'phrase' in an audio track, you can find it in the Phrase Inspector (Convert selected audio phrases to MIDI)

Preview in Audio in Midi is a great addition! Only in my opinion this window lacks a Play button to listen to the result of the conversion adjustments. Probably with the choice of a track for the corresponding preview sound. Thank you.

Hi Attila. On note forwarding I can't enter 0/4 as it will not let me go lower than 1/4 as the value.
Could you check to see if you can reproduce.

It would be better if you could specify real note values e.g. > 1/16 or 1/8 etc.

you are right, there is something wrong when setting the values with the mouse.
However using the mouse-wheel always works. I'll upload an update shortly.
