I'm not sure they've ever said anything publicly but _leras a few posts back said in September that they had something in the works for Triaz. However, I know from experience that developers often give that impression even if all they've got is a wish list on a bit of paper somewhere so I haven't been holding my breath.m-ac wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 9:33 am I seem to remember them saying they were working on a native version of bass synth next, so maybe that's taken up their resources for a while.
As I say, no update since July 2024 so that kind of tells the story of how this is being prioritised by Wave Alchemy. Not criticising because maybe the sales just don't justify the investment but it's a shame.

To their credit, WA were extremely generous to existing Triaz customers (free upgrade to essentially a brand new product). I supported them by buying several packs that I probably wouldn't normally have purchased. That said this thread has a ton of user recommendations and the messaging was that WA would be fully behind supporting/updating this product, so I am hoping they stick to that.

I think they are probably working on a native Revolution with multi-sampling in the Triaz framework.dastewart wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 10:23 amI'm not sure they've ever said anything publicly but _leras a few posts back said in September that they had something in the works for Triaz. The packs they released were quite small, so I'm quite sure they have something bigger in the works which will release around BF/end of year.

My entry point was the brand new product but I take your point about supporting existing customers with the free upgrade.iowastate89 wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 11:09 am To their credit, WA were extremely generous to existing Triaz customers (free upgrade to essentially a brand new product). But while I can hope for some of the recommendations to appear in a product update I'm not expecting it. So it would be a pleasant surprise.
As it currently stands then Triaz is a good product but I'm only just about sticking with it and not regretting buying it.

it's the long game with these guys.
they obviously want to stay afloat, so need to release new stuff, while working on other stuff. Hopefuly the recent sound pack releases will fund them to roll out the updates etc. I guess it's like moving house. You look at everything and think ok i should take me 2 days to move all that... then moving day turns into moving week.
And life happens.
Can browse presets in order now which is great. Things are happening. Slowly.

ok here are some facts and it is totally irrelevant if they need to reply or not etc.
these guys are so far very generous with their offers, have great plugins etc. yeah i get it as i own most of their products.
I bought TRIAZ and like it, but this is just a BAD WAY of communicating with customers, being active on this boards and showing so much hopes in this product where you'd think they will continue this way.
but no, dead silence, even if they just would say "hey guys, sorry we have new plans, or we wont reply here anymore etc." i dont care, just some sign of activity. they are also one of the devs why i dont buy products on promises/plans anymore but THE STATE THEY ARE the moment i buy them. (ok maybe U-he for example i still trust).
so for me these guys are sadly not acceptable with their communication and giving some hopes for features. i moved on and dont expect anything anymore.
what i dont like is such behaviour of many people always needing to defend a company, devs etc. , same also vice versa.
check the facts and thats it. doesnt help to being a fanboy and change the truth.
resumee, great plugin with many shitty and missing features (no userfolder possible IN HOUSE!) with a great communication at the start but now just awful silence.
you can always say "life happens" these guys are obviously active, so just have some will and as i wrote bfeore write something instead of being pure silent. and yeah they dont owe me/or none anything, but for me, i dont trust people this way.
bye

Personally speaking I don't mind too much about the communication thing because it's really risky making promises and giving roadmaps. But the reality is that there's been no update to Triaz for 16 months and that speaks louder than anything as to the way they regard this product.
What is frustrating is that I genuinely think that this product would be best in class with a bit of development and I have to wonder if that would be the tipping point with regards to sales. At the moment I think it just falls short for many people whereas with a bit of development it would become an instant buy.
Of course, that is pure speculation on my part but I wish the guys at Wave Alchemy had a bit more confidence and faith in Triaz to throw some development resource at it and see if that pushes more sales.

yes, i had hoped for it, that this product would be my go-to in this regards, sadly not :/dastewart wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 1:31 pm Personally speaking I don't mind too much about the communication thing because it's really risky making promises and giving roadmaps. It's quite clear by now they don't give a shit. They just throw a product out there and then milk it.
Otherwise where is my response from my question I asked 6 weeks ago. Complete radio silence.
If they truly cared, they'd be monitoring this thread daily and responding with one of the following replies (and it would only be one of the following).
1) thanks for supporting us and the the kind words. We hope we continue to impress you with future products
2) I'm sorry you feel that way about X. Hopefully our future releases are more to your taste.
3) That's a great feature request, we will investigate adding it.
4) Thanks for raising the feature request but sadly thats beyond the scope of our vision of X.
5) Unfortunately that function is not possible but a possible workaround is Y.
That would take 10 minutes per day and change the perception of the company immeasurably.
I'll post a list of my complaints with Triaz later today. Advanced warning, there are lots!

Not Bass-Synth. Revolution was to be next....is my understanding.m-ac wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 9:33 am I seem to remember them saying they were working on a native version of bass synth next, so maybe that's taken up their resources for a while.

"Revolution will be a separate native plugin, with 42 new drum machine emulations. The reason being that uses very complex mappings, and thousands of samples for round robin, velocity, and controls from the original machines. It deserves a separate engine where we can also release drum machine expansions."
"We can't yet give away a release date for the new Revolution, since we have a lot to do still. But it will be coming

Yes, but I'm just a guy on the internet.dastewart wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 10:23 am but _leras a few posts back said in September that they had something in the works for Triaz.
They've always be great guys when I've reached out to them over the years.
I already felt it wasn't my place to share, but now I feel bad for putting expectations out there. I guess unforeseen delays are why people don't like to announce software updates in advance. But I believe they are passionate about what they do and are doing there best and that good things will come when ready.
And of course it's a super tool already. 5*

And that sounds like it would build on Triaz framework maybe, but be quite a bit more complicated.Vocalpoint Studios wrote: Wed Nov 05, 2025 4:36 pm Not Bass-Synth. Revolution was to be next....is my understanding.

Add me to the chorus of users who are still fans of Wave Alchemy.
I think I said it earlier in the thread, but I've had good dealings with them. They are very small, but have been around a long time.
I distinctly remember a time here some years ago when no one was talking about them and their website looked abandoned.
I'm happy with what I have from them, feel no entitlement to any more free upgrades, and am looking forward to see what they do next in the drums/percussion space.

i guess i’m in the minority, but i’m pretty happy with triaz the way it is and don’t really care that it’s not been updated much. if they want to improve it somehow i certainly wouldn’t be mad at them (assuming that doesn’t mean major changes) but even if they don’t, ill still use it pretty regularly. that randomizer is nice. so are the samples it comes with. the only real feature that i would want would be to somehow integrate the beat scholar sequencer with it, but since that’s never happening, im happy to let beat scholar control the midi when i need a more complicated sequence.
