Oh and Nick Mason's drum sound is also superb. Good call, Squids.

Thanks Antoine! Yes... somebody please give some epointz to Marechalantoine.bertier wrote:epointz go to zedd (and if you would like to refer me I'm Marechal on esoundz)
When I walked into the music store, yesterday, I went downstairs to the drum department, and no one else was there except one of the store employees who had closed the door and was going crazy on one of the drum kits. It sounded awesome. I would probably have bought the snare he was playing if I actually had a space where I could let loose on it without disturbing a bunch of neighbours.
I just can't wait until the day when I have a spacious studio with a full-time kit set up with my favorite kit pieces. There's something nice about being able to make a real racket!
In the meantime, some of the detailed virtual drums in this GB will allow for a bit of that realism in our recordings, anyway.

(Don't mind the song, tune, thing or whatever he plays to in the provided link. Just listen to the drums and his incredible musicality. While playing like that you could get away with wearing just about anything)

Just one (okay two) quick questions before I join.
Is it possible to use all the included impulse responses to process material outside Infinite Player? What format are the IR files in?
Would be good to be able to put vocals, guitar, etc in the same space as the drums as I don't like mixing together different spaces.
Thanks and good luck for the final week of this awesome group buy!

I would strongly assume that YES is the answer to your question. I am counting on being able to use them for other things as well. Almost guaranteed that you will be able to use them for instruments in your Kontakt Player and/or full version of Kontakt, but I suspect that we will also be able to use them in other Convolution reverb programs, like the free LAConvolver or ProVerb in DP. I guess Squids will have to give you the official thumbs up, but I would be very surprised if I am wrong about this.lusername wrote:Is it possible to use all the included impulse responses to process material outside Infinite Player? I doubt they will work with any of the AudioEase stuff, though, unfortunately. I would love to be able to use them in Speakerphone, but I think the IRs used in that program are hard coded in the software.

Downloads may not be available until the 30th, but some stuff may be available sooner. We are actually waiting on a sample kit from Squids so that we can start playing with it right away and have some further discussion about how it all works. You could have at least one new toy sooner than you think.duojet wrote:When will the download be available....does my credit card get charged immediately or when the download is available?

Your card will probably be charged pretty quickly. For most of us the cards were already charged last week.

This is my first group buy ever, lucky me. I gave the E-points to somebody called muLperi/Mulperi (Hyvää Joulua vaan jos satut lukemaan tämän).
Oh well, it's back to shoveling snow for me...

Wow... thanks for posting the latest Dark Star. I didn't realize that we were actually likely to hit 500. But from the look of your charts 500+ is likely.
Methinks it's almost time for Squids to announce the rewards for reaching 500 so we can give the slow pokes even more incentive.
A few more of the Ocean Way drums (while we have them willing to do this one time thing) would be delightful, but I realize rather unlikely. Maybe some of those snares, hi-hat and cymbal packs you were talking about a few days ago? Yeah baby!
