Hi Mike,

you are right, there is something wrong when setting the values with the mouse.
However using the mouse-wheel always works. I'll upload an update shortly.

RapidComposer v5.5b6 is available!

In this update it is possible to use the AI functions using free and/or locally installed models. If you register on openrouter.ai, and create an API key, you'll find several Google (and some other) models that are free to use. Another option is to install LM Studio and download models to your computer. By enabling the server inside LM Studio, you can use it from within RapidComposer.

Improvements:

• Additional AI service providers added: OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Llama, LM Studio. It is possible to use locally installed models (LM Studio) and several free models on OpenRouter
• Optimized, instantaneous refreshing of the audio to midi preview
• Not just visual but also sound preview is available for audio to midi
• Fixed: editing note length with the mouse under 'Note Forwarding' did not work properly

When I select "LoopMIDI Port" as Device for an instrument track, playing doesn't work properly. When I hit the play button, it plays a fraction of second then suddenly stops.

I run the standalone version of RC last beta and after adding the first instrument track, I right click on the added track, then for Instrument, I select "GeneraMIDI" and for the Device, "LoopMIDI Port" to be linked to a DAW.

When I hit the play button, RC plays for a fraction of second then stops and I have to hit the play button again and again.

This problem doesn't happen if I select for example RCpiano.sf2 as Instrument.

I also noticed thar for the version 5.4.1 this issue doesn't exist.

Somehow the link to download the new beta doesn't work. RC shows update 5.5b7, although 5.5b6 was announced.

To listen to the audio preview with the Audio to Midi Preview window open, you need to select the track from which the preview will sound, but then after selecting the track, the Audio to Midi Conversion window itself immediately disappears.

Is it possible to add color support to chord notes in the track's piano roll? Currently there are only two options:
1- Hide chord tones
2- Show chord tones

When I select Show chord tones from Track Display Options menu, a gray-like color is displayed on the track's piano roll showing the chord tones. This gray color is boring and unintuitive.

Chord tones' places on the piano roll are always gray unless you select a tone. this makes confusion for selecting the degrees.

If you please add different color support for each chord tone on the piano roll, it would be so helpful.

I mean on the piano roll.

After selecting Show Chord Tones, Chord tones' places before adding notes to the piano roll are always gray (or monochrome). It means piano roll is always displayed gray. This causes eye fatigue and is unintuitive.

If this simple gray is replaced with lighter version of chord tones colors, this will make the selection of chord tones on the piano roll so simple because before selecting the chord degrees on the piano roll, you would have better view.
