If you have the plugin running, type in "Guide me" in the preset name, you get a pretty nice tour of the plugin that i havent ever seen before in a synth. Its also probably the reason why the plugin is so slow because of all this fancy animations

Its not OT tbh, Genesis Pro is jbridged, and if that's not working, it's not usable in our 64bit hosts.

From what I am seeing its massively buggy even with it's integrated bridge. I knew it would be a bit suspect, but what with the bugs in the vst and the absolute mess of the webshop, you gotta wonder wtf is going on tbh.

Guys, if you get crackling, have you tried turning off the lo-fi crackle effect in the FX section or switch to a different oscillator that does not have a crackle waveform?

I have tried EVRY preset, cant imagine that this is on (and fx is OFF) by default in ANY preset...this is a severe bug inside audio generation whatever...

Here too in Mulab 64 bit pre-bridged version. Only one track with one midi test clip, tried all presets, all the same

Works fine here in Mulab + Mux + Reaper + Unify

I think I have to work on my KVR trolling skills a bit more. Every time I try to troll here I always get serious replies.

Here's hoping that they can remove the "must run DAW in administrator mode" requirement soon. 32-bit bridging isn't a showstopper, but that admin mode requirement is an absolute hard no-go for me. Many DAWs will not allow you to drag and drop samples into them from the native system file explorer when you run them in admin mode.

Download is getting stuck and failing to resume. Retrying is going to start from the beginning. Those who've downloaded how much time did it take? I also tried using download manager (FDM) but even it's not able to boost the speed above 54 kb/s, also to resume.

Well, for the sake of £1.15 I've given it a punt. The download is similar to Rob Papen (another Dutch guy).
Wish me luck as it says downloaded and installed....

Edit. Turns out the 64 bit bridged version is not currently part of the installer

Well got it fully working now.
It has some things other synths dont have fore sure, but the layout is all in all horrible. Lot's of menus to dig through.
Oddly enough I find my Novation Mininova easier to navigate with its tiny screen.

Also something about this synth sounds... Dull and not as inviting as other synths on the market like Spire, Ana2, Sylenth1, or even massive.

The Effects section...

yikes. it's just I don't even know. It's odd to navigate.

Great that there's a ton of options but sadly I think this synth will probably be lost in time except for the people looking for dirt cheap synths... Then again with plugin boutique and the usual $1 synth deals for Air synths like Hybrid3 or the like, I just don't know where this one will sit.

I've purchased this synth, downloaded 598 mb installer, and when i launched the installer (run as admin mode) first message was this

I clicked on "run anyway", and voila, installer started. As of now you can't choose install path for the plugin, it installs it in c:/program files (x86)/Steinberg/VstPlugins.
Opening a test project in Cakewalk by Bandlab is basicalily no go:

Reaper 5.99 /x64 opened with no admin mod:

Whole thing is still buggy, it takes cca 15 seconds to load, there are 128 presets when choosing from Browse button in the center display window, when clicking the arrows to change presets in the main window, preset selected before missing from the list when opened in Browse button, and so on..

Sound is good, but the whole experience as of now is meh.

I hope they will sort this bugs/problems soon.
