not seen the utility stuff before? i assume for expression inputs?
:tu: I’ve got the slider one. Great for hand level adjustments bot not for feet unless you’ve got that gentle touch.

I haven’t picked up the spitter/meld yet but looks useful.

pretty cool idea really.
i have a couple of old self built lfo boxes, now im wondering if they might work in a similar fashion?

as for the slider, mount it on the guitar faceplate with some blue tac, for easy access!

I'm most interested in the ramper for well, ramping stuff. The splitter I can use, but mostly I got it to rate the free shipping for $99+ orders. It's passive, the only thing I am not keen on. Should do well enough with all the buffers I got though. They also make a buffer/eq that I will probably get at some point, it cost about the same as all 3 of these though, so I didn't pop for it yet.

vurt, I think you would like the Kill mister thing from the previous post, it's a lot of fun. Not like a gate as it will kill the audio. No bleeding of decay or anything. The performance aspect is pretty interesting.

ive used the pup selector before, turn one down to off and it works the same.
but obviously, that's stuck to the start of the chain.
could be fun dropping a kill gate/switch post reverb pre delay or something?

yeah you want to do it at the end of the chain or maybe in the IO of an effect loop imo. youve got to have good audio to kill with it I think. :tu:

Just got the EHX Intelligent Harmonizer in the mail today. Super cool device! Much fun to be had
there. :tu: :tu: :tu:

Thanks Uncle E, btw :)

Playing with the EHX Intelligent Harmony Machine:

Starts out Dry, then 5th interval, 4th, 6th... I like the sound quite a lot. :tu:

EHX IHM

Post

So after reading the IHM manual, seems the last recording was entirely Poly Override Mode, where it does polyphonic pitch-shifting. It's not really generating harmonies, which it does in intelligent mode apparently. So I added that over the original loop I had in my Boss Looper. I should have redone it to get rid of the mistakes, but I didn't. It's a bit difficult to use as it seems to be pretty much monophonic so you can't play chords or let notes overlap. It's sensitive to bends as well, you can hear it go off note, though I found that kind of interesting.

Anyway, this is just a quick attempt to use the thing effectively. I think it's successful for the most part, even though I'm just shooting from the hip here and don't really know what I'm doing. One take only.

Just tried a Horse AC Tone into a Carslrbro TC60 using the cab of a Laney LC30II (the Carlsbro's speaker stops dead at 5k). Mic is a Behringer C2 small diaphragm inside a Nordell microphone isolation cube. Preamp is a MOTU Traveler MK1. All the dials on the pedal were at noon with the exception of the "voice" dial, this was at 9 o'clock.
Ash T-style guitar 3 Ironstone single coil pickups.

I moved the mic to sound like what I was hearing in the room (through the headphones), reverb was also added. I really like this pedal, adds more dimension and brightens the amp. AC sound? Might not be as useful on a brighter sounding amp.
TC60 no AC Tone
TC60 with AC Tone I might have boo booed with the panning, I'm such a noob.
A looper would have been useful, I could have tried the Harley Benton PA-100 Attenuator and an impulse response with the same takes. Should I have high passed the reverb? :dog:

New pedalboard and amp. Finally got the Memory Man (TT1100), added a Blue Sky and a Small Stone nano with a Blues Driver Waza (love this). Everything else got shuffled around from prior boards. I was going to put the Big Muff Pi on the board, but the damn Biyang Fuzz-Star just sounds really good. Muff-stye but with more clarity and mids. The FX65 won the shootout between that and the CE-2w so it's going on this board.

Gotta say, I'm really happy with this setup.

How's the Supro? I was looking at that, nice little amp, not too expensive. :tu:

It's new, but I REALLY like the Supro. It does great clean sounds and a good drive. Sounds particularly great with dirt pedals in front of it. Haven't used the FX Loop yet, but I suspect it's not buffered (if that matters to you).

My other amps are:

1. mid-70's Princeton Reverb with a Cannibus Rex - don't love how this sounds with drive pedals, but when it comes to cleans and verb...it's heaven
2. Laney LH-5T - really, really nice low wattage amp that can be had a great price, two great sounding channels, FX Loop with different output levels. If you're looking at the Supro, I'd put this in consideration too.
3. Laney AOR Pro-Series 50w - this was their take on a JCM800 in a 50w combo. Ugly as all hell but sounds good for distortion.

Sounds pretty nice, thx. And yes, great setup :tu:

So I've been clean for a while but after a recent store visit (and TBH a movie which rekindled my indie love) ordered a Sub Decay Liquid Sunshine Mk.III.

I then saw the FullTone Plimsoul Mk.II. Please convince me not to buy it. It's too much (IMO) and can in no way be that good :help:

BTW Supro are good but not sure on the compromise to be accessible. Last one I played was years ago and dreamland.
I miss MindPrint. My TRIO needs a big brother.
