Yeah, I heard that too - but its distinguishing feature is the place in the signal-chain where they implemented it - it sits in his commute.

Via retailer? Not sure... but I'm probably too lazy for that anyway...
and luckily while Mattias obviously tried his best, the coders somehow still managed to avoid fully messing up Reason beyond recognition. I think they probably saved his arse on a daily basis (by masterfully not fully complying with his idiotic orders) and the ignorant muppet isn't even aware of it.
Pretty sure it would be a lot worse if he could write a single line of code himself if his life depended upon it.
It's more a series of annoying head-scratchers than complete show-stoppers luckily.

I think it would be best for Propellerheads to put MHG in a position where it's all about inventing devices, that's all it's about. The center of product management for the DAW software needs to be in the hands of a project manager with experience in arranging complex songs, UX and musical jamming. MHG is more one of those "nerdy" guys fiddling around with short loops and endless devices chains for hours without never arrange a whole song in a year.
New product manager needs to know how damn hard it is to create complex arrangements in Reason and how cumbersome the sequencer is. He needs to know how hard it is to have a deadline and look all night on this bright SSl mixer without a dark mode or to have no auto save or folder tracks. We need a producer finally, not such a fiddler. But the fiddler needs to stay, because the devices in Reason are really good. Everything else is mediocre because he is a fiddler.
There's just one problem: the new boss doesn't care about almost anything to do with improving the DAW. He has no clue about those problems, too.
Or he is just a puppet of higher interests... maybe of interests with a short-term profit only, which would explayin a lot of things that happen since he took over by the way.

What short-term profits? Going down 60%? They were working in pajamas and soon they will wake up into the nightmare from a short-term dream.
Beside all this, I'm enjoying this journey back to Reason very much. Extremely productive week so far.

Who knows, there is no commmunication at all. No communication to users, to external hardware companies, to RE developers, to software sellers, to magazines only one time a year and even then its nearly nothing with a substance.
Man, they have really zero communication at all, unbelievable.

For me, as long as they provide support, I'm fine with it. Roadmaps are a waste of emotional currency and I rather wait and see and upgrade accordingly.
Btw: Synapse GQ-7 is on sale for $25. Great Eq always accessible in the rack (no annoying popping VST windows).

I wouldn't recommend it - the whole Synapse bundle is regularly on sale for I don't know how small an amount and it's certainly totally worth it in its entirely.liquidsound wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2024 12:04 am Btw: Synapse GQ-7 is on sale for $25. edit: scratch that - I don't think the bundle even exists anymore...

I'm looking at a possible LegendHZ VST upgrade if it includes the RE as the original Legend deal.jens wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2024 12:26 amI wouldn't recommend it - the whole Synapse bundle is regularly on sale for I don't know how small an amount and it's certainly totally worth it in its entirely.liquidsound wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2024 12:04 am Btw: Synapse GQ-7 is on sale for $25. You stopped using u-he plugins ?liquidsound wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 11:10 pm.
I had graphic issues with all u-he plugins and that’s why I stopped using it.
v13 has no such problems.
The Repley is surprisingly enjoyable and so the Polytone.
I can’t use anymore synths like Polytone since Repro exists

I stopped using Reason 12 because I had graphic issues with u-he plugins and Serum as well. Serum was manageable (waveform display was totally corrupted) and Diva (and the rest of them) had the windows chopped.SebAV wrote: Fri Dec 27, 2024 8:41 amYou stopped using u-he plugins ?liquidsound wrote: Tue Dec 24, 2024 11:10 pm.

Those two are my main tools.
