I'm quite annoyed about it because I was really excited about getting both products, but now it might have to wait because I think I'm going to struggle finding the money for Christmas presents this year. *sigh*

You know, I was in that boat for a few days, and then I said "what happens, happens." At least they've minimized the release of sh*tty, buggy product...["Hurry up with that ceiling, Michaelangelo, the Pope is running out of chapels"]

I re-did my budget, and I think that M-Guitar will get bought pre-deadline, and I'm pretty convinced that Ethno can be squeezed in during December.

It woulda been easier in October when they were scheduled, but, that's water under the bridge. [Is that the same water that the boat is in? :Ed.]

Which means that Rhino 2, Oddity, ImpOSCar and Minimonsta are all most likely gonna wait until Jan-Feb 2006, barring a rainfall of dollars. I'm only saying this so Paul and kpr can see how we value their 'stuff' :P even if we are beginning to think they have the time management skills of an anesthetized sloth in a vat of treacle...

Hi Guys

That treacle is hard on the teeth ;-)

I am sorry about the delays, but really it has not been that long of one.
I keep making the mistake of judging how fast i think we all can do our last bits of work on this project. My associates are in all different parts of the world here, and there are times when days are lost because of the time difference, and waiting for emails to be answered while the other sleeps etc. I know now to not predict this anymore.

I have said though that we are at the last part... building and testing the final installers. So surely won't be too long off now.
Again ... Sorry for this sloppy pot of Treacle i am stuck in. But i will eat my way through it asap.

Hey Paul,

do not worry. we have learned to wait... ;)

Post

Not to mention the Extra couple hundred meg of content we added and the Sample Mapper and the ManyMiniAmp.

All this is an added BONUS that was included a bit late in the game so hang in there guys. It will be worth the slight delay.
Thanks

Oh, indeed. You are the more innocent of the two famous Wu developers who uses sundials instead of wristwatches... :P

And like I said somewhere before, we're all getting itchy because we sense this product is gonna be real good. I know that ethno has ballooned in size, and so has M-Guitar. So, a bit late translates into "WTF?" when you get down to it...

BTW,I took your advice on PS-1 when they trimmed prices last week, and a damned fine synth it is too... :D

Sundials ...nope ...you think i have time to get outside and see the sun .... Fraid not .... I use a wristwatch but i Stopped winding it Last Week
(what day is it ;-) )

And ya.... I told you PS-1 was a nice unit. The price drop there should have kept a few of you busy i would have thaught?

Incidentally, the delay isn't the problem for me. From that perspective I'm happy to wait.

The problem is my finances. :hihi:

True, if it were out earlier I would have bought it earlier and now I might be suffering more so because of the purchase. But for both products, the wait appears to be a worthy one so that really isn't the problem.

I'll probably squeeze the ManyGuitar purchase in anyway because it's relatively inexpensive. The bigger problem is with BITR because I intend to purchase TSW Pro and Ethnotronics in both formats all in one purchase. That will be a significantly bigger layout (but absolutely mandatory as far as I'm concerned). I might just have to push that purchase until early next year and satisfy myself with ManyGuitar in the meantime.

In the meantime, I cooked up another small goowey. Not entirely sure though if it's any use. Does anyone think he could live with this:

Or does anyone think revamping the full GUI into something similar like this would be a good idea? (Well, yeah. It would keep me secluded for some time, but apart from that I mean...)

I like the vintage look of the other one better, but this one is quite sweet indeed.

The vintage look of the original GUI i posted is how ManyGuitar looks.

i think Berend is bored and is trying to be ...uhmmmm "minimal". ;-) (this would be an extra skin guys ;-) )

I like the idea of an alternate gui (but not if it means isolating you :) ) , something not retro/harware looking but clean 2-d sort of thing for contrast
Nobody's a nobody...

On the contrary, I'm quite busy these days so before putting too much energy in this alternative skin, I'd like to know if there's a demand for it. And I may not have been clear enough. It would be an extra skin, not a substitute for the original.

@maximilians1: you think this could be the base for an alternative clean 2-d sort of thing? I think it's actually quite 3d with shadows and light reflections etc.

Hi amoebe

Of course i know you are a busy guy!!'
I like the concept of what you have done there.

But don't isolate yourself as we need to get the initial release out first. It would be nice to see a few alt skins eventually. For example I just love the look of ManyMiniAmp and that concept may be a neat look for ManyGuitar also. Anyways i think everything you do looks great!

The Product release is pretty much out of my Hands at the moment as i am waiting on the Final Installers from the coders we have working on this. I am guessing that it took a bit longer than they expected due to the fact that it has to work alongside other product installations (Wusik and ManyStation) and the variables involved with this.

Please.... Just Hang in there guys. As soon as i get the official (New) word from them i will let you know more.

Paul
