So I leave you in the hands of those that know better - which is pretty much 90% of the net

If I didn't have a feeling there might be problems with it I probably wouldn't have asked.
When it comes to this sort of thing I trust you and the ST guys more than 90% of the net, tbh.
Thing is, ST is full of Triton this and Virus that, and with the tight lookout for illegal material I assumed they were OK.

Ok, I'm actually trying to find any more information I can. It's been a VERY long weekend and I haven't really had the chance to check. But I am aware of the hardware sampling that is on the site. However, I'm not sure it will stay there because it's always questionable.
Bare with me. I'm tired, even after sleeping for a few hours. I'd hold off on posting any hardware samples. As much as I would like the actual samples, I can't say whether it's safe or not.
I'll get back to you all. Doing some research now. Thanks Spe3D for your input. I do respect your information. So please don't think you're the "baddy". I appreciate anyone who steps up and helps clear things up.
Ok, see ya soon.

I'm at 97.9%. If even one or two of us could get the rest, there would be enough seeds for more people.
Anyone?

Sadly enough I don't have it, 0% here, I was a little late with that, in the beginnings it seemed to have worked well to get all of it? edit: Aaaah...it starts while I write...so you'll have your last few % soon
. Download rate here is about 10kb/sec

The amount of data that is on there now is exceeding my laptops hard drive space, but I've ordered a SATA USB caddy with a 160gb firewire hard drive, that's coming on friday at the latest, and when I get that, I'll have every torrent seeding.
I am currently seeding the karmapaloozer now if anyone is interested. I don't have the full file, but it is at 98%, so it should keep most people happy until the original seeder is back.

I try to keep everything seeding. I have MOST of the torrents there. But since my wife also uses the connection, sometimes I stop it or slow it down. Overnight, I'm always full speed.
I think we've had pretty good seed support so far, considering there are no ratio restrictions. We are just relying on a great community to give back by seeding, and they are doing so.
I'd still like to work on getting more stuff up. If it wasn't for a terrible weekend, I'd have put more stuff up. But it hasn't happened yet. I'll try to find some time, but I've got no days off for two weeks. So I'll do it when I get time.
Thanks to all who have contributed so far. The site is better because of it.

Hey Brent - just read this thread and particularly the stuff about hardware sampling. I'm the culprit here I guess so would you like me to pull the torrents down until the issue becomes more clear? I had no idea this would be a problem and want things on the up n up.

Hi xsub, I dl the karamapaloozer this night, and after it I learned it was your 98,3%-one, as I'm now at 98,3xsub wrote:

But maybe it's great on it's own, let's see
I let the things I got from sampletorrents run through the night, but I thought with my upload-speed it would make more sense to choose just 8 or so? 2-3 are needed then (the Akai-stuff during the last nights, and the Mats Helgesson-piano for example). We're not THAT many seeders/downloaders in the first weeks of the sample torrents. So in case I'd be the only seeder for some file, running 15 times of 1kb/sec wouldn't be that great in that case
My laptop is just 37 GB, so I haven't downloaded all of the stuff, = 25 of the 37 torrent-files now. But I put much stuff on backup-CDs to get some free space on my oldie. And as I thought, a better DSL speed is maybe only possible in December here, at least if I want to change the provider.

I think the best solution for you if you really want to help is to do what I'm doing, and download all the current torrents to seed.
The hard drive space with a laptop is of course a problem at first sight, but I highly recommend you get these products, (I have ordered them yesterday) together with these two, you'll have ultra fast data transfer, upgradability for the future and of course, you can seed every torrent you wish.
Safecom USB 2.0 And Firewire 1394a Caddy
SATA II hard drive
p.s. 4 more users for 600 users on the site
