A lot of people speculate that he works for them based on circumstantial evidence, and I've seen a running joke there about him being a P'Head employee ... Do you have proper evidence?

If he actually does work for them, then he's seriously breaking their company policies...
He did Reason 3.0 trailer. Is this enough? Do you want message of that...??
I know he did that - on a totally freelance basis. He does that stuff for a variety of clients and is self employed. He is NOT a Propellerhead employyee, and hasn't been for 8 Years!!!

Now stop being a muppet

Jeebus... what's all this then.

Contrary to kmonkey's persistent attempts at making a hen out of a feather, I am not an employee of Propellerhead (nor am I a stuff memeber, whatever that is).

I used to work there once, in my distant youth, but that was last millennium. I do however produce stuff for Props occasionally, just like I do for other music software companies, as well as other types of businesses like Volvo and Ericsson. The notion of some Volvo driver starting a thread about me having said something negative about Saab is beyond absurd.

My opinions are my own, just like the opinions of any dentist who ever tended to Propellerhead's fillings, or any car repairman who changes the oil on the Propmobile.

Absolutely. You have a perfect right to talk nonsense and you excercised it.

The keyword is portability: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porting
Well-written C++ programs can be compiled for (and run on) any platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc) but there is only a Delphi compiler for Windows.
Actually there is Kylix, also from Borland which is Delphi for Linux. and there is Lazarus which is Delphi but opensource and for many platforms.

To be honest, I wonder why Delphi lost out in recent years to C#/.net as (imho) it was far more satisfying to work with. I guess Borland's various takeovers etc. didn't do it any good. I remember a few years back when magazines like PC Pro used to be chock-a-block with Delphi coding tutorials every month.
