I like those synthetic sounds. It's not run of the mill. It's different than most smooth sounds but a change is always good. I'll just use the demo. though. Russian smussian :hihi:
Give me faster computers, bigger Hard drives and more money.

Cheers!

Thanks for reply. So I will get the latest demo and check it out. If I like it - and my purse as well! - I'll buy it.

I absolutely love OLGA
I don't buy a lot of commercial p;ug-ins, but this time it took only one evening of fiddling around with it to make a decision. It's a noise-head's dream, very distinctive dirty sound -- and don't forget the rubberduck-))
Yeah, the GUI in 'Russian' doesn't make much sense even to a Russian-speaking persn, but it adds more fun to the process imho.

Hi,

I know Olga is so last week :), but if anyone's interested, we've just released Olga v1.00.07 which has a different (and much better) envelope implementation when attack times are very short. You can get a better fast smacky sort of sound out of her now.

I would take Olga and Dr Device, and get a free limiter, there are tons of very good ones around.

thanks for olga.
it's a great synth!
very cool gui, tough and still with humour,
cool filters, and indeed a very human response to the usual knobs-tweaking.
russian language, pretty funny, not necessarily a good idea. i would rather concentrate on creating new sounds with the synth instead of grabbing the manual all the time...
and i would like it more if it would had a eXT non-comercial user licence, instead of reaper.

every problem has at least one solution.if there's no solution, there's no problem at all.

You know about clicking the little 'white tie' on the left of the GUI, right? ;)

Hello,

yesterday i tried Olga for the first time. Very cool synth with a FAAAT sound and it's own character. Today i solved the riddle in the manual and now i know how to show the english translation at the controls.
Today i purchased the license since this is a unique synth and it's nice to be one of the first users (before thousands of people start useing it. Even the price for the commercial version is not too much (80 $). I don't use Reaper so i had to buy this one. :D

Hello musikmachine,

the hint for the translation is at the second page of the manual. Check the GUI for the symbol !! :)

Update : Sorry musikmachine, i guess you already know how it works !

Ogla is totally on my must have list of synth's to buy. Anyone who hasn't tried this puppy is missing out, it's a keeper. I kind of wish they had a "training" GUIi so you had a better idea of what you were doing before you switched to the post apocalyptic Easter Block army surplus GUI.

Great work though,

Mark

Hello,

like i mentioned the place of the switch for the translation is hidden in the second page of the manual. If requested i could explain this in detail but that's no fun....
Another thing is that all controls are explained in the manual.
