VirtualBox is better and lighter than the others,
at least on windows.

Yeah, their USB support was funky for a while but that's either getting (or is) sorted.

but it needs a few helping hands for a closed beta testing.

Please keep in mind, the input signal came
from an electric guitar bridge humbucker.

If you are used to play electric guitar
as well as acoustic guitar, please apply by:

A:
Providing a dry/direct recording,
(Not normalized, recorded using a DI Box or Hi-z inputs)
playing your electric guitar just like an acoustic guitar.
(Finger picking and strumming ect.)

The recording should be 1-3 min long (mp3 at 192kbs or wav).
Simply play whatever you like with dynamics/feel.

You can use a single coin or humbucker pickup.
But it is very important to use the bridge pickup.
(Volume and tone control full open (max).
Also, please let me know the PU/guitar model you used.

the strumming sounds very good, the first one of course has the hiss but the guitar itself sounds good...the middle one sounds very good but a bit heavy on the reverb in places.

I have to say I have a problem taking you seriously as a developer. You could do some of the following actions:

* update the www.soundspectral.com site and say there the amp is not coming anymore and one should have grabbed the XMas Tube Amp while one could.
* consider making www.soundspectral.com your main product site where all these finished plugins can be downloaded from.
* update your sig in your KVR profile, and remove the reference to the amp sim
* update thread title of the 4-years running gag and just say honestly you lost interest in the amp sim or something.
* maybe finish that compressor you were working on.

All this comes down to putting your act where your mouth is. Keeping shtum is not a good way of communicating...

I had some very serious isues that I would not wish anybody have to face.

The amp will come no doubt about this,
only the 'when' is undefined.

The Acoustic guitar modeler is created with a modified engine of the amp btw.

A new soundspectral.com site is done but not online yet.

My sig..., yes, needs a change.
