I could of sworn that said Orion a minute ago. No BONES about why you would change it :hihi:

You should really get the Windows Vista logo on there too. Maybe make it look like Underdog is holding it?

If this isn't some lying ass shit. So you're telling me that SOnar didn't seriously upgrade its midi capabilities as a response to users constantly compairing it to Cubase?

So if I do a search....after "Lost" of course researching when Sonar finally adopted VST I guess I'll discover that from day 1 Sonar could use VST instruments?

This is gonna get fun.
Where did I say that? I said customizable midi tools, which Cubase STILL doesn't have. When it upgraded, it upgraded BIG.

I never said that Sonar was first to everything. You asked what things would make somebody choose Sonar, and what things it did that others couldn't. You got your answer.

Over the past few weeks I've noticed that you're a bit of a compulsive liar. Either you're lying, or you'll consciously refuse to answer a simple question with a simple answer. You're like a "Lost" character except I'm not willing to wait 3 seasons to understand why you lie and whether it's in the best interest of your people or simply for selfish reasons. I think from now on I'll just call you Ben.

If anyone is interested in a STRAIGHT FORWARD ANSWER for what once separated Sonar from the rest then I suppose you should take a look at this...

http://www.tweakheadz.com/review_of_sonar.htm

None of that mystery dialogue here. Just look for "groundbreaking" and there you have it. I don't mind being wrong...next time I'll just know better to prove myself wrong instead of waiting for someone to get over their hissy fit and do it for me.

A few more interesting threads in regards to Sonar's midi shortcomings, earlier versions of Sonar playing catchup to support ASIO and VST instruments...wrapper included...

http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... base+sonar

http://forum.cakewalk.com/tm.asp?m=9583 ... Qs/vst.asp

So pitch correction made Sonar unique eh?

http://www.tweakheadz.com/review_of_sonar_4.htm

I thought I was going crazy there for a moment because I KNEW when I used to visit Cakewalk forums I saw enough posts with users not too happy with the state of Sonar's midi editing vs. Cubase.

Why lie about it though?
Remember kids...Everything is impossible until it's actually done.
