They never turn out right.

Somehow the Hello Kitty strat doesn't work for death metal.

I was padding. Your track was great. I wish I could devise something like that.

i have no idea about the pitch increments. i haven't actually listened to it yet. i just put the sine-wave generator at a random setting and sent it through the filter on my PAiA modular. the sine-wave generator is an ancient valve model so it may have been warming up? the PAiA modular i built from a kit and is extremely unstable - i suspect this was fluctuating. i just watched the led output on the mixer, pressed record then left the room. my submission is a 2.59m segment.
That's way cool, I didn't realize something like that could produce pitch fluctuations, but it definitely did! You should listen to it yourself. :)

thanks, milkshakeiii, i'll give it a listen eventually. too busy listening to laura's incredible track.

actually enjoying all of them so far.

the gossip thread is 'twitching' nicely, be great if we could get it locked before the submission deadline.

anyway, just need two more entries and i've got my voting done. don't think i'll bother listening to anything after that.

ive made a paper mache vagina from pages of the quran and the bible, when dry i will record the sound of me humping it and use the climax as my entry i think.

Just plug the entries into a random number generator and let that take care of the voting. No more listening required.

I'm submitting a track...I should have it posted tonight or in the morning.

it might be better to withdraw at the climax, no?

Knockman : Without Unreason
Interesting how the S & H randomness of the filters tends to introduce it's own "woodblock" quality to the pulses in this one. The longer you hear it the more tranquilizing it becomes. And then you want to go outside and dissect the family pet. "Here, kitty, kitty!"

robojam - Piece of Meat
This has a sort of Fripp buzzy energy to it, but the rhythm track sort of peaks too soon and is too detailed but disturbing nonetheless. Great vocal. The poetic qualities of this lyric make Charles Manson look like a mass-murderer. The final scene was worth the price of admission.

mrblitz000 - Angry Surf (As Good As It Gets)
This has a variety of anarchic qualities to it, and conveys the mood nicely. The drumming is a standout. Needs a touch more paprika.

LauraMichelJarre - Who Do I Have To Sleep With...
Probably the longest title ever. That was Marni Nixon, right?

farlukar - Lotted
Nice build and certainly felt my blood pressure building in my ears, which is a good way to make anyone angry. Clever idea.

vespers75 - Bitter Seed
Nice piece of metal. Multi-platinum. The Julie Andrews vocal probably wasn't my cup of tea. I wanted a bit more 16th note gated guitar. But the dead chickens are at least now stacked neatly at the side of stage.
