I've been holding off on gear purchases until next year but I just couldn't pass up the McDSP v5 upgrade. Channel G and ML4000 are some of my favorite signal processors and I'm so happy to start using them in Live. I'd sell my URS Channel Strip Pro now, if I didn't have so many projects that depend on it.

Hmmmmmmm.

I still haven't pulled the trigger on "magnetic" yet, nor have I on the RP delay. But I PROMISE I will try really hard to force myself to it

Only one day left on magnetic, better get to some more testing (sonar x1 has taken up allot of time lately)

I bought a mopho last week. It's my first analog and by far my best purchase of the year so far. Will probably upgrade the soundcard in the new year and invest in a good quality pair of cans and some room treatment.

If it's any help to muddy the water

I said no to Magnetic, even though I bought and love the no-brainer channel strip. I found Magnetic to be good for thickening synth lead and bass but I thought it just made my mixes a bit more muddy.

Hmmmmmmm. I guess I'm torn because it's SUCH a great price and I can think of many situations where I'd want it. But, 50 bucks is 50 bucks.

I think though later tonight (after a couple more beers

) I will do it because for cleanish/slight crunchish guitars it's just masterful!
