you did not specify 'performing musician' which I think is quite important at a site like KvR and when talking about a host like Reaper and not Live. I don't want a lecture, Hink. I've stated my preference. I'd be extremely surprised if most performing musicians don't agree with me.I mean if that's an issue simply use hot keys and turn off your monitor.
Can you imagine if guitar pedalboards required a keyboard, mouse and monitor just to boot up? How popular would that be?
I can't disagree with you as far as on stage and the proof is in my ever growing collection of tube guitar amps, but again that's a different story
