Which area are you in btw (texas, arizona, la, etc) We have two stores here in sac. I never go the main sac one anymore as it's too far away. The roseville one is clean, convenient........our theme? Railroadbraj wrote:Yeah big open design, but I only go there in the middle of the afternoon when there are few people there. Actually I was there today and heard Bob Marley and the Jackson 5. It was pleasant actually.
All "pros" moving over to Logic, why?

)
Won't ever go to arden fair again as long as live. I want to make it to the car w/o getting mugged

Wait, are we talking about Fry's, Chipotle, or the Apple Store?
I meant the Chipotle was playing Bob etc.
I haven't been to Fry's in years. I'm in SF and I think the closest one is Palo Alto.

I know, but shoppers gonna shop
There are some nice specialty stores where you can get little things. It's not easy though
Luckily, the roseville galleria (the one that guy burned down
) isn't so bad. Relatively safe, some parking options, good selection of stores. Like I said, I don't carry an AK, so not going to arden fair!!!!!
edit, should point out that where this is even remotely on topic is they both have apple stores.

The best time to go to the mall is Tuesday Morning at 10am with all the old ladies doing their low-impact exercises. Nice and relatively quiet then.

Years ago it was people moving over from Logic to the new kid Ableton. I think Ableton Live being wholly non-linear is more suited to electronica than Logic's linear workflow is.

Workflow? Possibly, but Logic plugins are really good, and it's difficult to go for one or the other. Better to have both really.v1o wrote:Years ago it was people moving over from Logic to the new kid Ableton. I can't go to malls, I get reminded of the mall and inevitable shoot ups in GTA Vice City and feel well, weird.

Depends on what you mean by "elecronica". Personally I found Live too limiting when used with plugins - it's OK if you're doing sample based music and can work in session view primarily, or don't record what you play live, but you can only record host automation while playing in the arrange view and that is traditional linear still anyway (only more limited than Logic and most other specialised linear hosts).v1o wrote:Years ago it was people moving over from Logic to the new kid Ableton.
