For those not into the points system, we do have the whole collection available at a very reasonable introductory price (like, real cash/credit card kinda money, not points) too. Or in our store (you can click "Buy Now" from here http://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/slashcs/ or in the Custom Shop choose "Collections").

Yes, but I had to distract away from that point for a few more hours!FrantzM wrote:I only said it was a Marshall amp and that's what it is. I chose that particular pic because it clearly illustrated typical Marshall styling.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:FrantzM, sorry, no.
It is not a Marshall Haze series portable cab.

I see. Like a magician, you were using misdirection to divert the audience's attention.Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote: Yes, but I had to distract away from that point for a few more hours!

Actually, we've been teasing it for 6 months at least... just very █████ subtly!Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:BTW, kudos to IK for the short tease. I like that this was first hinted at a few days ago and it's already out.

I downloaded the 3.8 update and I own the full Amplitube 3.8 but but when I try to use the slash models, they are locked. From what you said above, it should be inlcuded right? How do I unlock them?Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:Looked back...
Alright, Imma lay it out. It is in AmpliTube 3.8, and it is imminent.Kontrast13 wrote:Do you guys plan to release these piece by piece like 3.7.x-onwards or as a big chunk called 3.8.0? Might be a little too revealing to answer this though, haha
Like all the AmpliTube gear, this amp is factory default.

You need to purchase them, they are not free. Same with Slash's new album. Even people who purchased his 2010 solo debut album still need to purchase the new tracks.
You can purchase a serial number to unlock the whole bundle at once for $79.99/€59.99.

... (which is currently totally the way to go, you save about half off the price of going a la carte - by the time you've got the amps and cabs, that's the price of the whole package!Brian @ IK Multimedia wrote:You need to purchase them, they are not free. Is that intentional, @ikmm folks? I didn't even think anything about it, just did some quick math and went "yeaaaah I'll take the lot of it for the same price, thanks!" but there's one guy who seems pretty disappointed 'cause he pre-loaded into the company scrip and was apparently under the impression you can buy the conventional "collections" in the CS with credits. Kinda "ouch" for that guy, if this isn't a goof or something.
Also, I nabbed this pretty much the minute it became available, there's a "b" on the end of mine. Does that happen to signify anything? Right before I went to download it, got a 403 access forbidden error, hope I'm using the right version. Ah, well, I'm sure it'll be figured out in the end, always has been before, if there's even anything to be concerned about. Models all seem to work just fine to me.

Never really listened close enough before to make a comparison but it does sound like a tiny bit of reverb gets through at the lowest setting. Room mic/cabs turned off, to make sureFunkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Can someone with the AT Fender Twin check to see if they can get the spring reverb to not sound at all in 3.8? For some reason, even with the reverb knob all the way down, I'm still getting some reverb. This is new.
