I haven't installed mine, have you guys reported it? Likely they'll have a fix out soon (doesn't really do me any good to report it if I don't have it installed)

How could we forget? I'm not much for bug reporting, though I might on this one. I'll at least try to get my partner to complain about in their forum, since I think he's posted there a few times. I'll bet they've been reading this thread and probably the one on GS, though I didn't notice the issue over there yet.
Regarding my statement about two of each classic compressor model, after I posted that I thought of some that I have none of, like the API and some that I only have one of, like the DBX 160 in the McDSP 6030. For the latter, I'll probably settle for the one and for the former, I might go for the Waves someday.

Which one is the best? BusPressor, DC8C or Vertigo VSC2?
Finally!

I have Vertigo and BusPressor and prefer BusPressor. It had better attack and is more versatile. It also preserves low end like no other plugin comp I ever tried and prints really nice color on tracks. After some use I found out I prefer it to Glue and also to SSL Duende bus comp.

No loss of low end here with The Glue. I think The Glue and Vertigo sound punchy and open, while BussPressor sounds congested, actually making IT sound like it loses low end / punch.

PSP released an update to BussPressor with an improved (slower) attack time. Can anybody tell me if it improves the plugin. I'm finding I'm having to use (abnormally) long attack times with the current v1.0, so it sounds like a good update.
I'm not at the studio for a few hours, where I can check for myself. Whats the word on the street, yo?
Thanks

To me, I find BussPressor better overall than Vertigo and even if it's based on SSL it sounds slightly different from The Glue. Both sound great and you can't go wrong with having two flavors. Also, Vertigo is overpriced.djanthonyw wrote:No loss of low end here with The Glue. And to cut this, no, you don't loose any low end with BussPressor!

Which one do you like the best? Three different compressors, one is BussPressor. Same settings for each compressor.

after a quick listen a then b then c for me, but these are not volume matched , checking on my daw confirmed a is the loudest
edit : peak matched i like A and C , got better sound with duende comp but it was probably more about the setting used , just swithcing the attack or release a little can make things worst or better
