Sorry if this has been explained elsewhere, but I'm not seeng any presets. I installed them correct I do believe. In the VST folder I created a new folder and put the .dll and the Cthulhu Presets folder there as well. BTW this is Live 8 64 bit with my plugins folder on a second drive.

And after a short time Live crashes

The 64bit has issues, theres a fixed up version on the forums but you might not be able to get to those right now. It also had some crashing issues in at least s1v2, not sure if Steve posted up a fix for those yet or not. With Xfer stuff its always good to check the forums from time to time cause he will throw up the latest beta's in the product specific forums and the beta's usually have all sorts of new goodies and are stable

Ah ok thanks, at least it is a known issue, that makes my getting a fix much more likely.

Edit: I did find the new 64 bit version and it is working swell

I bought Cthulhu and I just found out that that notes that are programmed in the plugin differ 1 octave with the notes in the reaper pianoroll.

So, If I program C1 in cthulu, I have to program C2 in the reaper pianoroll the get the result.

I have InsertPiz midichords too and I remember that it has been updated because of the same glitch. Must be something in reaper.

One feature request: It would be nice to have two outputs available, both the signal without and with the arp. i would like to9 use the internal arp to drive one synth but use the 'raw' chord feed to drive other arps. Do you think this is possible?

It's been like that a few hours.
Sorry to hear that - it sounds like your DNS must have the old server IP address still, as people have bought in the last couple hours (we changed servers about 12 hours ago, it takes 12-24 hours to propogate the new server address sometimes).

If you're itching to get it, email me steve -at- xferrecords.com I will be happy to register you out manually with a direct paypal payment and email - or perhaps try another web browser and/or flush your cache.

It was strange though, as I was able to access the site, create an account - all worked fine - only later, I received that server message. I have also tried another browser now - same problem. I will try again in the morning. Cheers.

I had the same but I found the problem.. The site doesn't work with the subdomain www at the moment. When you go to http://xferrecords.com it should work.

In the arp, is there a way to link notes to create quarter notes say in a 16th note pattern? That would be very helpful. It would also be cool to be able to have full chords play when desired. I guess i could fake it a little with Harmony parts.

Edit: ok I'm playing with the Chord feature, I'm not quite sure what is going on yet but it is sounding good

Chord Mode: When chord mode is enabled, the Arp will additionaly
output all of the notes which are incoming, transposed upwards so the
intended arp output note is the lowest heard. This is useful for making
"chord arpeggios", similar to playing the inversions of a triad on a piano
(e.g. C-E-G E-G-C G-C-E).

is it possible to print the chord 'midi data' in Logic (I realise this process may be a bit hamstrung)

I'd love to be able to tweak the resulting chords and patterns manually

Hey this efffect looks great but there's one thing that would make me buy it in an instant and without it i cant really use it. I'm mainly a r&b and rap producer and those bach chorales arent the type of chords i need. Im not a great keyboard player so i couldnt teach it all the great rnb chords i want it to play. And theres not a lot of midi files on the inet of modern day rnb chord progressions. Whether it be from popular rnb songs or just in general (as far as i know). Does any1 have any suggestions on how to make this plugin great for the rnb producer?
