Simon is a great and fast guy, by tomorrow you'll probably have the answer.

He really is.
Just checking in to confirm how smoothly the package activation went on my Mac. Just as db3 described.
One question: I did not use the "download all" link but instead opted to download each instrument (for Mac) separately. Was this the right way to go about it or should I have used the first (integral) link?
One more question: is it true that all downloads can indeed be re-issued so no hard disks have to be filled. But what about the optional two-year extension then? Unnecessary?

It's combined sample+resynthesis, I figure.

Hmmm, no reply from Digital River in 24 hours... I hope they'll reply before the deal runs out. :/

I knew it! I went through the same with the Riser demo myself.

Thank you. It was a small piece that I put together quickly at the end of the month right before the deadline.

Yeah, SirKen was able to help me with this already. I should have just checked with you guys first before wasting Simons time. I'll do that next time.

But I am glad you posted about this synth being awesome and on sale and all. So far I have just been noodling around and checking out a few of the presets and I'm way impressed. I wish I had more time to get into it. I'll probably have some time to work with it on Thursday. Cant wait to hit that record button and have a little jam session. :)
I'll definitely be upgrading if they extend that $129 offer.

anyone have any idea why none of the presets are showing up in Studio One?

edit: got them to show up. Maybe this will help someone. I had moved the air folder to my vst folder (go figure) since it doesn't let me pick when I install. So I tried copying and pasting the folder back where it originally installed and it found the presets. I guess it only looks for them there. So anyhow, now I have to have the same files in two different places. Makes sense.

This synth is OK. I feel it is worth $50. Honestly not sure I would pay more than that for it. Seems the company is really responsive which is good. I may bite the bullet one day and upgrade to the whole bundle. Not sure.

ChillPenguin wrote:I went ahead and got the VacuumPro. $49 was to good to pass up for me, and if the offer to upgrade for $129 is still available I'll probably go for that too.
The upgrade wont expire at the end of the month so you may upgrade when you wish.
That being said we would love for you to enjoy our full catalog :)
Glad your issue is solved!

Are you able to change or add to the folders studio one scans?

Presets are working in my S1, but I'm on a mac.

Well technically I could make it scan for vsts wherever I wanted right? I just prefer to have all mine in one folder if possible.

you can specify the installation path, but you need to click on the Options button on the first screen of the install process, you aren't prompted. It caught me out first time around.

I'm on a PC, so can't vouch for Mac.

Quite tempted by Vacuum. Just wish there was a demo to try it out properly before buying. Anyone know what the resell policy is, if I were to buy it and then decide that it's not for me?
