Not sure I would have guessed semi-colon as the comment token. And comments in the HP files as well, I assume.EvilDragon wrote:If you prepend the line with ; it is commented out.
You’re really bringing the fire Prometheus! Thanks again.

Oh Ok!EvilDragon wrote: Can't do that, and I assume it won't be happening considering there's over 3500 parameters in this beast.
It reminds me now with Cubase 'editor' sliders for the synth parameters (I didn't even check if it still there in a recent Cubase!).
Anyway, I'm playing with Diodow now, although there are many things absent like mouse scroll support, arrow keys for browsing the presets ..etc. They are all minor things, but all together make editing a little bit tiring. However, once one gets used to it and knows the places, he/she can make good results because the sound engine is very good and stable.
Ok, I need a rest and to go back now for the nice looking synths
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Still a bit cumbersome as compared to selecting a theme from the plugin's GUI but I'll keep that in mind. You would have to add a name of the theme somewhere in the .ini file if possible or remember by sight what hex values correspond to what color scheme. But I'm not complaining, just being able to have a custom color scheme is a huge benefit. Having to spend a little time to switch schemes is a small prices to pay for the ability to customize.EvilDragon wrote:You don't have to!Teksonik wrote:but swapping out .ini files is a bit cumbersome.

So you can have multiple color themes in .ini file, commented out, then you uncomment the one you wanna use...

You can add a name of theme before the set of commands, just prepend it with a semicolon again to comment it out... i.e.:
Code: Select all

Scale=150

FlatSliders=1

FontColor=$a58b7b

OverflowColor=$a58b7b
SliderColor=$a58b7b
SectionColor=$a58b7b

I was more curious how the demo limitations affect the ability to create patches and the possible reward for doing so.wagtunes wrote: The demo version has clicks, pops, dropouts and these annoying messages that pop up that say you can't save presets in the Tranzistow directory.
I'm not sure I'll have time to do 200 patches in the near future and wonder if the demo limitations would drive me nuts by the time I got to patch 150.
Still a full version of Tranzistow would be quite desirable.

There is no limitation on creating patches outside of parts 2-4 not being active.Teksonik wrote:I was more curious how the demo limitations affect the ability to create patches and the possible reward for doing so.wagtunes wrote: The demo version has clicks, pops, dropouts and these annoying messages that pop up that say you can't save presets in the Tranzistow directory.

Patches I made for Tranzistow/Diodow.

Mostly experimental so you may not find a lot that you'll be able to use for EDM or "normal" music. But if you're into sci-fi and just plain weird stuff, you might like some of these. There are 125 patches in all.

All that time spending on different coloured displays that the developer should have done himself, is time not spent designing sounds or making music.

Why are you even still in this thread if this thing is so useless to you?

Checking out your patches I got this with the "Calamity Jane" patch. I don;t have the path on my computer. Is this the path you have Diodow / Tranzistow installed ?
If so there may be problems sharing patches if everyone uses a different install path. My patches will kick up a warning on your system etc ?
