It's the application start up icon with Studio One 4.0 underneath it. The very existence of 4.0 means that there is a handful beta testers, that have it already. This revelation means that the release of Studio One is due to be released, in what is expected to be now, next month. Beta testers are under NDA (Non Disclosure Agreements) which they have to sign, to not reveal or expose information about a product publicly until a certain date. This can affect grace periods and have a financial knock on in that potential customers will wait to buy a product. If you are found to have broken the NDA, you typically lose the right to be a beta tester in the future with them.tapiodmitriyevich wrote: What has been leaked? PLS TELL ME NAO

Before this guy's "leak" video, we have nothing about the Studio One 4 just speculation. In the video he leaked the Studio One 4 icon absolutely inadvertently. He had deleted the video, please don't be hard with this guy.chk071 wrote:"This video has been removed by the owner". Frankly, i have to facepalm hard at the way this stuff is "leaked" these days though. Do those people not have any manners, or sense of responsibility? It's like applying to a beta, accepting the NDA, and then Tweet all about it. Ridiculous profiling obsession. If i was Presonus, i'd never give that guy a free copy again.

I don't know about all this "expected next month" stuff. We know that there's likely some version of Studio One 4 in test that Johnny is checking out, but we don't know if it's an early alpha, or a beta. You can assume that Presonus will announce it at Musikmesse, but they may not. I wouldn't expect anything other than Studio One 4 sometime soon. Soon could be next week, or it could be 3 months.THE INTRANCER wrote:It's the application start up icon with Studio One 4.0 underneath it. The screencast was up for just over a week, 23rd March, and he clearly knew about it being present in the video, however took it for granted that nobody would have noticed and didn't do anything about it, till yesterday. What this does is raise questions in whether Presonus will release beta versions and secretly in the future to a select group of users before hand and whether they are doing a yearly release schedule like some other daw developers do from here on in....id4kvr wrote:He had deleted the video, please don't be hard with this guy.
At this stage, does it matter if it's publicly known that it's due out soon...? Probably not.... but Presonus must know that once the cat has escaped from the building, that, you're not going to get it back once it's out, id tagged or not, so it's partly Presonus at fault here.... is it important enough to them at this late stage ? Who knows.... leaks do happen. It's more amusing than anything else, just at the expense of Johnny Geib this time round where really he might have done current users / potential future users a favour inadvertently and thus don't hold anything really against him for this blunder..
It's not like you can't turn the desktop icon's off from view from the desktop, rather than have dozens of them scattered all over the place everyone can view and you yourself can lose very easily by accidental moving and copying. I don't get it, particularly if you have a logo for your youtube channel on your screen... ( cluttering it with icon's makes it look better for some it seems
The two previous major releases 3.0 and 3.5 were in May (20th & 24th respectively), so it's a predicted pattern one can judge from.... Also if you have watched previous live official release screen casts, there has been information given on the approximate time frame in which they have access to the beta's.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:

Presonus prefers to create flashy video's and post them on youtube than announce them at shows

I managed to track down the 2D image of Mojito XT that I couldn't find and thought had moved or deleted by accident.
, This view angle hasn't been published before until tonight....but I wonder if Presonus have actually done anything with Mojito in v4.0.

Well I think we have a good idea of what's coming with new devices in Studio One 4.0... can anyone spot any clues of what else is in 4.0 from this (May 8th 2018) video ?
