Korg's customer service don't appear to be able to read:

Me: Hi. Your website says that in order to demo the Legacy Collection 2 I must download it via the Korg Software Pass. However, the only demo available on the Software Pass is for the Triton.

Korg: Thank you for contacting Korg USA Product Support. The Korg Pass App is not for just the Triton VST. Please install the Korg Pass App and you will see the other Korg Collection apps that you own/registered. Please click on “Update” for each app and run the upgrade file that is in the folder to install the update.

Ridiculous. Their reply is as shitty as the app. I have lost hope on my emails.

I'm also trying to work out how to demo all the other stuff!! I own M1 and Wavestation and have the Triton demo.

Anyone notice that KSP dumps the contents of C:\Users\{name}\AppData\Local\temp) in the recycle bin?

Some weird behaviour here.

I have MonoPoly, MS20, Polysix and Wavestation.
All updated quite easily, BUT only Wavestation and MS20 show up as version 2 in my DAW (Cubase 10.5) Polysix and MonoPoly are still showing as version 1. But then I can open both as version 2 standalones on my desktop. Oh and Monopoly factory bank doesnt show. Anyone?

Love the new GUI's though and there's a ton of new presets

Thump on loading MS-20.
Thump on changing patches.
Stand-alone and Plug-in.

Dice not working in Wavestation.

Mono/Poly too small. Can't see a way to increase the size. Actually, found it. It's ''fun'' trying to figure out where they put similar functions in different products.

MDE-X so tiny. I've clicked on the KORG logo to reveal global settings but don't see any size settings there.

Clicking on KORG Legacy Cell plug-in (top right) reveals a menu that appears top left of entire screen. Can't for the life of me see any size settings.

Happy to see some great improvement but ...

I think at least some of the problems I'm having (if they are even user equipment problems) are due to Windows 10 and annoying security issues.

Win 10 here. No issues. Dice ok in Wavestation. MDE-X is definitely resizable. Click the logo and the screen size menu is there in the lower part.

Just received another reply after I emailed them back:

"Sorry for the misunderstanding. The Triton was the only software available as a demo. I will need to research this new option and get back to you."

Don't know whether to laugh or be pissed off.

Congratulations on releasing Korg Collection 2 with new updates. I am new to Korg and would like to demo the plugins contained in this collection. As per instructions, I registered myself and have a Korg ID. I also downloaded the Korg Software Pass app. I am on Windows 10.

However, I am seeing that there are no demo plugins contained in it. I am only seeing demo of Triton, nothing else.

I am mainly interested in demoing Wavestation, M1, and MonoPoly.

Could you please help?

I have the sent same query to KORG app User Community. I hope to get a better response there. But I think it is too much of a time waste. Rather, I should just grab the Wavestation and get done with Korg for now.

Are the version 2 Wavestation and M1 instruments working fine on Windows 10?

I am about to pick one and forget about demoing any.

Hallelujah. Didn't think I'd see the day of scalable interfaces.
Maybe finally I'll actually use the plugins (WS & M1) I have bought ages ago in a box when they were still dongled to get over the tragic loss of my hardware WS rack...

I also get unexpected behaviour in the Wavestation standalone from the random button - seems to mix the sounds randomly although it says it would do random vector positions?

And not other demos than the Triton here too on Windows 8.1. x64.

I haven’t updated yet but these descriptions scream “different contractors worked on each of these programs and nobody had a unifying project management lead involved”.
