I think that the problem is not its (mild but wild !) core features or even its sound. for me the problem is the notion of having too many processors to choose from (or even be aware of them!), which clogs my thought process.Aiynzahev wrote: Tue Nov 08, 2022 1:46 amCassiopeia has a free version too that’s almost as fully featuredMichey wrote: Sun Oct 30, 2022 8:01 amYea, it's nice.Lazylefteye wrote: Fri Oct 28, 2022 10:48 am Cassiopeia is superb and an absolute bargain at €19 not in your face but just does something really nice.
Only problem is that TBProAudio's GSatPlus do the exact same thing - and for free.
In the case of Cassiopeia, I, too, was able to nail the exact same outcome (GSatPlus<->Cassiopeia free).
Again, nowadays it's not about how much does it cost. it's all about how quickly and effortlessly one can replicate a given processor sound outcome (or in the ballpark - close enough to essentially not matter)... and saving oneself from having another tool (read: DL for free or buying for money) in our ever-growing toolbox.
