fine for me as well on win11 - did not work until I registered and then it didBiome_Digital wrote: Sun Jun 19, 2022 8:22 amI can drag a file from Reaper's file browser into Novum without problem.Dunc wrote: Sun Jun 19, 2022 8:12 am The drag and drop does not seem to work in REAPER. I had to register the 'Basics' folder from within a standalone instance of Blue Cat Patchwork. The same thing goes for drag and drop of a sample - does not want to do it within REAPER.
Anybody else getting the same thing, or do I have some setting in REAPER I need to change?

I cant drag contents in ether to try it (bigwig) on the demo version, shame.
Edit- got it! Didn't realise you had to start the trail first (unlock it)- you can do that without buying the software, after that just put the 'unzipped' pack on my drove then dropped it on no problem.

Could we have an option to limit the max amount of grains? CPU can get pretty hot with Novum so some kind of control would be nice, or max amount of playable voices - per patch settings would be cool.

It’s totally worth it. By far exceeding my (high) expectations. Totally love Dawesome and excited to see what they do next.plexuss wrote: Sun Jun 19, 2022 3:43 pm I didnt bother demoing it. Abyss is amazing imho so I bought Novum. Now to play...

I highly recommend anyone demoing this watches the 'Novum - an Overview video' (twice) before trying to use it- it is a bit different than the norm and you won t get much out of this just 'clicking around'. It all looks quite simple but the depth is staggering ...some new paradigms, some new sonic worlds to explore!

@PetVor
You ask in your video if Novum should also be an effect - I'd vote for that.
I love Novum and Abyss - great work, sir.

We shall see orchestral machines with a thousand new sounds, with thousands of new euphonies, as opposed to the present day's simple sounds of strings, brass, and woodwinds. -- George Antheil, circa 1925 ---

By idea, it should be about 75$ for Abyss users at off.page (as written in newsletter). Than not a bad too btw. While in current circumstance it turns out that no any loyalty discount. Not critical though, but strange disposition.

Sorry, official page.
About discount for both - i'm don't know if it possible. I wrote about discount for those who already own Abyss license.

Really impressive. I played a single C on a piano with a lush reverb. Bounced and loaded into Novum and tweaked for a few minutes. No external effects of processing. Lots of fun.

Also Simon's examples are sublime.
