Just a friendly note to say that your track is not downloadable from Soundcloud.

There are a few others, though they are all on Discord - I've let them know too. :tu:

Sorry about that, I just went with the defaults. It should be fixed now. Thanks for letting me know if I've forgotten anything else...

No problem. I'm not sure if anyone has actually been DQ'd for failing to make the track downloadable (though it is in the rules), but better not to find out the hard way : )

I'm really sorry to hear about your wife being in the hospital. I truly hope she has a speedy recovery, and that her return home brings you both much joy and inspiration for the next challenge.
Thanks, She has MS so there is always something going on. She is coming home from the hospital today.
Hey Frank. Sorry to hear this. My wife also has MS. Her life turned around about 5 years ago when she read a book by Terry Wahls. She is now healthy enough to go back to uni and start a new career. I can't believe it! I thought she would get worse and worse, but she's got a lot better!

Check it out - if you haven't already:

I'm happy your wife is doing well. My wife was diagnosed in 1994, at the time was relapsing remitting. She read the books, we modified her diet, etc.. After 2010 the wheels fell off the buss and she is secondary progressive, bedbound and unable to feed herself. At the moment chronic pain is an issue, with a host of other complications.

I'm so sorry to hear that. That's very sad. It must be hard for you both.
I think MS can be so different for each person. I hope my wife stays healthy. She was diagnosed in 2004. She was on strong pain medication when I met her and in constant pain on her left side and she dragged her left foot.
We found her biggest triggers were gluten and alcohol. Since we ditched these 100% about 6 years ago - she has come off her meds and is mostly pain free. The neurologist is very impressed. The MRI's look good.
Just hope it stays like that.
I expect everyone's triggers/risks are different.
Good luck with it all.

Music should bring harmony, not stress :phones:

I voted! Again some wonderful music this round.

Post

Voted.

I really like the sound of almost all the tracks. There's something live and spectrally rich about the character of the synth to my ears.

Post

Yes. Possibly the most enjoyable listening round.

I have to agree. A very good mix of tracks of high standard. This is going to be hard to differentiate.

Some ranking based on sound design, composition and mix/mastering. But, you have all been very good this round, and I don't want to "demote" a track based on "nitpicky" points :( :help: :phones:

I suspect many will have to separate tracks based on subjective criteria - I know I probably will have to. I can't give just about everyone a 4 (even though they deserve it, in the main). :tu: :tu:

Lots of extra listening will be required. :phones: :phones: :phones:

... and well done everyone for making this a super round

I finished my voting. Still trying to do comments. My average score will be much higher than usual this round as others have noted.

Post

I have more or less finished voting for what is possibly the greatest OSC round ever so far. I suppose there could be a lot more variety and weirdness. But such consistently solid music. Hopelessly subjective my vote was and we should of course all not take the results with any seriousness.

Put up my votes as well. Really good entries.
Zebralette 2 is obviously still going strong!

I finished voting. Good job, everyone! I thought a lot of tracks stood out with very creative instrumentation and sound design.
