He is probably terrible, because he puts a lot of samples into your appdata directory if you're on win 10/11
I'm not even mentioning wanting to install the program to your documents folder,
which I didnt do btw. sheesh
*Clearly he thinks everyone has tons of available space on their root drives.
J/k btw: no need to actually change this…

We just pushed some big updates!
Wavetable Synth voice — A new voice that loads any audio file as a wavetable. Scan through frames with the WT Scan knob, layer FM phase modulation on top, dial in pitch and FM envelopes, add saturation, and spread with the stereo width control. Ships with a set of default waveforms out of the box.
FM Kick voice — A 2-operator FM kick built for punch. Sine modulator drives the carrier with independent pitch and FM envelopes so you can shape the click, the thump, and the tail separately.
Comb filter — Comb mode on the filter FX module! Resonate to your hearts content.
Trigger & Repeats UI overhaul — Condition, Probability, Latch, Offset, Repeats, and Time now use vertical sliders instead of knobs.
Trig conditions + transport fixes — Condition counters (Every N, etc.).
Sample browser fixes — Fixed crashes that accumulated over time during preview playback. Fixed a slowdown on large sample folders where the browser was re-scanning and re-serializing the same folder contents every 3 seconds even when nothing changed.

great drum machine, i love it, but in the preset header at the top, i don't see the name of the preset, i see 'c: users name appdata roaming'
so i can't actually see the name of the preset, and when i click the preset left and right arrows, it changes the preset fine, but when i'm looking in the preset box that opens on the left of Bingo, the highlighted preset doesn't change unless i actually click on a preset, it's a small thing but it bugs me
i haven't seen anyone else mention it so maybe it's just my pc

I've been partial to 2020 Beat Machine the last several years, with Microtonic/Triaz/Battalion/Visco rounding out the other most often used options. Bingo stands out to me because it treats every drum voice like a full-blown synthesizer rather than just a sample pad, giving me deep sound design and instant, performance-ready grooves in one instrument. Patterns feel alive, with ratcheting, probability, swing, and variable track lengths making the groove evolve organically rather than loop mechanically. I have only started exploring it and don't think I will hit a creative wall with it anytime soon.
