I just discovered a Linux native auto-multisampler that exports to Decent Sampler and SFZ!!! I've been wanting a Linux autosampler for years!!! It has apparently existed for years and I never discovered it until today:

MS-4 is still focused on stereo FM synthesis. The oscillators have been improved and the FM matrix has been expanded for deeper routing and more control over modulation between operators. It also supports MTS-ESP for microtonal tuning, allowing custom scales and alternative temperaments. A sync mode allows oscillator phases to continue instead of resetting on each note, which helps create evolving sounds and wider stereo movement.

MS-4 was rebuilt in C++ using JUCE instead of SynthEdit. It now has a solid macOS VST3 build and full Linux support.

Sadly its on Patreon so enjoy it there.
Development is ongoing.

I haven't bought or tried it yet, but it has a free demo. It has somehow evaded my radar for years. I've been wanting a linux native autosampler, and I never noticed this one until today. I looked back, and it's been around AT LEAST since 2020 and has continually been supported and receiving updates. And I agree that the price is good. I eventually plan to get it and sample my Roland jv-1010 that I have sitting around and then using Sforzando as a rompler.

Due to copyright reasons, the required Ensoniq ROM files are NOT included. To make the plugin work:

Create a folder named EnsoniqSD1 in your user's Documents folder:

How to load: Attach the disk image using "Load Floppy/Cartridge". Press Storage, then select DISK. Press LOAD. The display will show the Disk Load page with the File Type selected. Move the data entry slider all the way up to select TYPE=SEQUENCER OS.
