what do you care? you use N-Crap don't you? :x :hihi:
<sigh> yes i do use "N-Crap" thank you very much AND I happen to love it AND it was just updated to 4.02 :P

But to answer your question there Flip-Flop, i use Fruity as a vsti in N-Crap. We'll see how the audio is now in Fruity, but I'm sure I'll always use N-Crap - i've just used it for a while now and I'm comfortable with it.

Yes I know they both had high votes in your "shittiest host thread" but i use'em, i like'em, and i support'em. put that in your aussie idol pipe and smoke it - beeoootch!

hehehehe :hihi:

Cool, that takes me back, I remeber that program as my very very first efforts with midi on a PC years back. came on a floppy disk - I did not know it was still around - have to see what it is like today.
I still use BIAB when I need a quick-and-dirty GM or XG backup track for a song at church. I have a Yamaha XG keyboard, as does the church, so I've also used the various tools to convert BIAB styles to Yamaha styles :D

It's come a LONG way - I first got it at version 10, it's had three new versions since then - DXI synths, TC Helicon vocal harmonies, odd time signatures, transpose each chorus, etc.

For those interested, keep an eye on http://www.pgmusic.com - about every December they release a new version at a discounted price, and if you miss that, they offer it again in June or July.

Doug, still trying to get to "My FLStudio"...
Logic is a pretty flower that smells bad - Spock, in "I, Mudd"

FWIW I did not need a new reg code either. Not sure if this was the correct way to go about it, but I simply pointed the installer to install to my current FLStudio folder. It overwrites duplicate files automatically. Next, I just double-clicked on the .reg file that I have had in that folder since the beginning and it said that it was successful in writing whatever it needed to the registry. When I opened the FLStudio 5 icon, 5 comes up with my user id in the upper left box. All of my existing plugins were there along with the new native FL plugins (FPC, waveshaper, etc). I opened up a bunch of my previous .flp files and they have all worked thus far. Pretty much all I needed to do was reconfigure my midi and audio settings in FL 5 and I was back to making bad music!
Again, not sure if this will cause problems down the road, but if you are able to back up your current version of FLSTudio (4.5.2) in case it doesn't work, this may be an option for some...

I have been able to get the URL to my reg code, however, my browser never successfully downloads it. I've tried in Safari and Firefox. I suppose the server is still bogged down...

As we explained in in the past the architecture of FL doesn't allow real looprecording so I BEGGED Gol to just let he engine restart once it reaches the end.

This means, of course, that notes in the beginning or at the end might get dropped.

Just make a selection that has one or more bars before and after what you wanna record and you'll be fine.

In any case we/you will have to live with it as there's no real solution for this without rewriting most of FL and it's recording.

See ya,

So if I log on and register here on my work computer where I have high speed access, I can download my Reg code take it home on disc and use it to register FLS5 on my DAW?

Post

Yes! you can do that Beardedone.

Its use sensibly, etc. A lot of guys will not have the DAW on the net - for sure. My main DAW never gets connected to the net.

What I dont need to tell you but need to write it in a public forum - single user one pc at one time, not both at once. Is what I mean by use sensibly. The FL page has more details about the lic code etc.
