+1, would love to see a simple preset manager built in

I think the developers already have this on their list. Let's hope so :)

cant wait! :) already loving Spire.
wondering what you have planned as preset manager?

btw i found a bug.
i opened the spf with the sbf dialog and spire crashed. it was the same the other way around.
it would be really good if you could open it also in both dialogs.
(means open bank and then select all files and preset.spf or open preset and then select all files and bank.sbf).
just noticed it.

!!!!!+1000!
Latest installer version remembers install place, and looking for standard VST paths in registry mentioned above in this topic
I just installed 1.01 and it defaulted to where it has always defaulted....let me go look what the registry says.
rsp
HKLM\Software\RevealSound\Spire\InstallDir
that seems to have the correct value.
Will see what it does in the next update when you guys get rid of the whole bank nonsense :-)

Before somebody updates to the newest version, please open the old project and write down the CPU/DSP load and compare with the updated version. It seems they improved the CPU usage a lot but I have no values.

Nvm got it sorted..

Made this industrial style track with the demos stock sounds.

So far spire sounds pretty good! I also love the fact that I can use it in multiple instances without it killing my computer..

or rename spire.dll to spire1.0.1.dll install the new version in the same folder - create a preset and then use it for both instances (old version vs. new version)
thats what i did.
had a lot cpu savings here when using up to 7 voices. made like good 15-20% here on my old AMD QL62@1,0GHz. so well done.

No problems noticed with the installers, because i unpacked it with uniextract and MSI/admin command.

In Studio One 2.6 Mac Pro 3.33 a 5note chord using PD HIDLIGHTS used 24 % on previous version 1.01 and 23% on the current 1.02. Thats a 3/4 % reduction.
Mac Studio M4
15.7.3
Cubase 15, Ableton Live 12
