Someone with the full version, can you see if you can open this .fxp preset?
Simple Pad.rar
In Cubase there is no option to open the fxp with Avenger...
So I have no idea to open this preset... in Avenger its only possible to open *.avgr files.

Avenger is out NOW

Demo is 4.5 GB in size :o :hyper:
I really hope that we are free to place that factory content where ever we like, my main partitions are rather full and I don't want anything more on my c drive...

I'm up and running with Avenger but I ran into quite a show stopper for me.

The Sustain pedal is really odd with arpeggiated stuff. I was expecting to be able to hold an arpeggio by pressing down on the sustain pedal but to my amazement it actually turns off instead. I've ticked the "Sustain pedal OSC Hold" in the systems tab but this only stops the arp and then sustains the oscillators.

Is there any way for me to get "normal" behavior working? I just want to hold 3 notes that are arpeggiated while I'm tweaking the knobs with both hands. Currently this is not possible.

EDIT: I also noticed that the "Sustain pedal OSC Hold" function is per patch. It gets really frustrating to have to toggle it all the time. Could we please have a global option that just makes the friggin sustain pedal work as in every other synth?? Man.. sometimes I wonder. Are none of you people using a sustain pedal?

Thanks for trying xanthos :D Kinda odd cubase can't open its the format they themselves created

Hopefully another daw will bring some luck. I'm sure this info will help a lot of other people out.

I think it is always an extremely GOOD idea to allow saving patches, but with no recall, in demo versions so they can be opened in the full version.

yes you are, on the SYS page you can define the location path on your system

Yes, it gives you that option and I had the same issue on my 256GB SSD local drive.

Interesting...Dune 2 does the same. Not sure why.
But what i miss in (nearly) all synths is sostenuto.
Still 9 hours to go.....

I am sure we can fix this very easily, we will ad another menu entry in the SYSTEMs Tab for holding the ARP...
the behavior now is not "incorrect". You could also want (if you have an piano arp or something like that) that the played arp notes are played endlessy. But I understand your point and the desire for an ARP hold, so we will add this asap.

Sorry if this has been asked before but how long does the 20% off last? I'd love to try the demo before purchase but it's saying "coming soon" on the demo page. I imagine the servers getting hammered is the reason behind the demo being unavailable.

I hate to say it, but it was pretty obvious a 4.5 gb demo was a pretty poor idea on your normal server capacity.
I hate to say it, too but you are right :D
Let me do some quick math. The cheapest file storage is from Amazon at roughly $0.1 per GB. The demo version is ~5GB (?) That's $0.5 for each download. And if a 1000 people demo it that's around $500 - what you currently make from 3 purchased licenses.

I don't quite understand.. I have a hard time figuring out a scenario where a person would benefit from the sustain pedal not holding the arp. I'd say that scenario is the special case and not vice versa. Anyhow, thanks for considering an Arp hold feature. It's the only way to be able to use both hands for tweaking all them wonderful knobs while playing live with a keyboard. :)

Also, please consider adding an "override" mode for the system tab option of "sustain pedal OSC hold". It gets very tedious to change this per every preset (well, some seem to have it turned on but most are off).

Registration site back up for me in Chrome - now downloading in about 6 mins vs the original 5 hours, with many thanks. Next problem - now there's too much work my end to install it for a while....

At least too much traffic on servers is mostly a good sign for the developers :D
