all credit goes to the man himself, the fact he has enough love to go thru the hassle for some asshole he never met a half a world away speaks volumes.
i sent him 10 bux, which is like nothing in japanese money i guess, i think it cost me like 50 cents or something ridiculous.

the truth is,yah, they may be strange or obsolete or whatever...
but we are vstologists, and this is like finding the fuckin true cross or something retodded like that.

i am deeply grateful to the man for being so cool...i mean, he had to go thru HIS archives just to hook US up.

hell of a guy, IMO.

major props to Attulla on midimusiker forum...it was her links that guided me to KAiTOP.

he had i think no idea how many of us were interested, and i bet we made his day, too.

ok, i gotta request now...anybody got any leads on the contact for/ the keygen for some vaporware called humbeats 1.1?
we would prefer to pay the developers, seeing as how it is beerware, but can;t find contact info as they went down a couple years ago.
you can still get the program, but no way to find the serial....

so...unethical?

Attula and me WANT to pay...but if we can't.......

any ideas?

i refuse to find or download a f**king crack....

perhaps the best bet is to have kaitop's requests there posted, mirror the soft at Tom's site, but have the link go directly to kaitop's actual link, he may quite legitimately be curious how many folks wanna download the stuff.
we really need someone who can translate to japanese!!!

i will ask, but i believe he answered already...as long as he retains his copyrite and his stuff is not sold, i believe he would most likely be cool with it.

i don't really know how best to broach it, but will attempt to ask...the language barrier is a pia, but not insurmountable.

as a side note;

one thing i have really noticed about the people of this planet is just how we really are one, divided only by religion and governments.
so my hats off to all....
and i pray, in my non-denominational or affiliated pagan deist way, that one day all that meaningless crap can be thrown aside and we all can be who and what we are in peace.

It was for sale, but now its listed as freeware. And I get some weird text when I try to go to the download page.

one thing,i thought 'compiling/decompiling' meant disassembling or altering,which i'm sure he said he didn't want people doing...of course i could be wrong.

I think I have a beta of this that killed Nuendo the (very) few times I tried to fire it up. It may have been the demo, it was years ago and the GUI never had time to appear anyway. This may be why it's vaporware.

i think he means you need to accept his terms, and expects some of the real early stuff to possibly be recompiled...i haven;t had a chance to look at the zip yet.
