You are operating under the assumption you can find a buyer. I think you'll be hard-pressed to find someone willing to purchase a second-hand license from a company that has publicly announced they are no longer selling any kind of software and have closed up shop.TheoM wrote:Sorry to go a bit OT guys, just really hurt by this as i was honestly holding on to alchemy as i said as my smoking gun for when i needed a cash injection (and the aussie dollar dropping so i would get more in the xchange rate and not lose as much money on the sale). But i was the one that got smoked.

Sorry - little bit slow today.
Especially in this thread. I think this will break KVR records in terms of longest thread, created in the shortest bit of time, without the usual-usual (insults, finger pointing, derailing, cat pictures, HPC - closing and banning).

I might buy it if the price was right and if I could be 100% sure that it would even work if I installed it.TheoM wrote:bmrzycki wrote:You are operating under the assumption you can find a buyer. Nope, i think if i get the official "ok" it will sell like hotcakes, especially to a windows EU user.. no vat, no compatibility issues for a looooong time. And if it doesn't, what different position would i be in to now? Nothing ventured nothing gained. There have already been multiple posts in this very topic ( i read every single page) that wish they could still buy it.
Honestly, CA closing up shop has me a little bit skittish about diving into this even IF they personally said it was okay.

I just got confirmation from CA I can transfer my Alchemy license. The buyer just needs to have a account at CA already.TheoM wrote:well that's what i had sad in my sales topic, that it was 100% risk free, had to install and work. But it has to be all or nothing the way i see it, ie everything in the account.wagtunes wrote:I might buy it if the price was right and if I could be 100% sure that it would even work if I installed it.TheoM wrote:bmrzycki wrote:You are operating under the assumption you can find a buyer.
