As far as I have understood, the license is not transferable, however, all future updates will be free. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

A non-transferable would be a deal breaker for me. I'll assume non-transferable unless para confirms otherwise. and even then, I think it's a very nice sounding synth, I don't really like the GUI (a different colour scheme and larger size would help), I'd still wait for a sale on it only because I have a lot of other top tier synths. But non-transferable I wouldn't buy it at all.

Do your soundset presets really work on Logic / mac ?

I see that my other Rapid presets are .pws and yours are .fxp
Am i screwed here ?

EDIT : Nevermind, I just found there is actually 2 different paths for 2 different presets formats :
Library > Application Support > Parawave > Rapid >>>> .PWS
Library > Parawave > Rapid > Sound Presets >>>> .FXP

This possibility of 2 different preset formats is really good. Exactly the thing I would like to see for Softube Modular...

I can't wait to try your sounds, thank you

Rapid should read them just fine

Just copy or extract the "Northern Lights Soundset" into the "Sound Presets" folder where rapid scans for presets.

The default location on the Mac should be

"MacHD/Library/Application Support“ folder at the subfolder “Parawave\Rapid\Sound Presets”

Once you have done this, reopen up Rapid and you should see a folder in Rapid's browser called "Northern Lights Soundset", where all the presets are located.

Let me know if this works for you

If there is a problem, I would really like to know about it

Awesome, glad you got it worked out. Is the "Northern Lights Soundset" folder appearing in Rapid's browser?

After demoing Avenger from Vengeance I'd like to test rapid too. But its demo is content-wise and feature-wise very limited compared to avenger. To get a feeling for its whole potential I thought about buying rapid for a moment. I wouldn't mind the price if it is possible to resell the product. But unfortunately the parawave website doesn't state anything about it (or at least I didn't find it under FAQ). Rumors say rapid licences can't be tranfered which would be an absolute no-go to me. Can someone confirm or decline this?

A small selection of sequence and melody presets contained in the RAPID Synthesizer factory content.
I think they demonstrate a good use of sequences, arpeggiators and layers.
